Title: Skepticism of BitcoinTalk User
Post by: MacAndSwiss on January 30, 2015, 04:13:58 AM
I recently started a new topic on Satoshi and where he is (In terms of online), and someone claimed to be him. I am really skeptic and doubt the identity, if any can confirm it please do.

Link to topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=936002.msg10295147#msg10295147

I am not advertising. I want to know if the person is plain trolling or is it him.

Internet forums have jokers. Bitcointalk is no exception. Don't take everything so literally.

I can almost guarantee you 100% that he/she is not satoshi.

Apparently his last post on bitcointalk was in 2011 or so, does anyone know where he went ?
I'm still here just changed name  ;D
If you are referring to this post, its 100% not real, I can sense the sarcasm.
Don't take anything serious on this forums...

Of course he is a troll. If he is Satoshi he can prove it by moving some coins of a known "Satoshi" adress.

He's obviously trolling, unless he can sign a message with any of the addresses related to satoshi, he is trolling. Also, notice how he is a newbie. Satoshi is founder :D. Also, Satoshi's account is locked by theymos, no way he can login unless he inform theymos.

I doubt he'll ever poke his head out, at least until he has something very important to say... announcement, warnings...etc... He'll always be out there somewhere...  :) Sarcasm.

Are you seriously considering that he could be Satoshi? Why would Satoshi ever want to reveal himself on your thread?  :P

That guy is trolling lol Satoshi was last seen on this forum December 13, 2010, 04:45:41 PM. Even though if he's using some other username he wouldn't tell/we'll never find out.  :P

If he can really move some coins in known satoshi addresses, that could be a  proof.

Signing a message would be the only way to verify ownership, sending coins also is good but who's to say its actually him, and you can't include a message in the coins you send unless its on blockchain, but thats a centralized way of adding notes, only blockchain uses that.
Signing a message timestamped, and with his username or real name would be the only way that we could really verify.

look around at any thread that contains the name Satoshi. there is always at least one poster who replies that he/she is satoshi. always one line. usually with a smilie too.

report him for shit-posting
