I am not very computer smart so I didn't even know that would be in there but for a laptop to get wifi i guess it would make sense. Also thanks to cncguru who gave me a great deal for the ones he had. I do have a couple quick questions though. Are all antennas created equal? Like I have seen some on ebay with the cord and its like a wire spiral antenna and then I have seen longer rubber coated antennas and shorter rubber coated antennas and was wondering does size matter and is there a noticeable difference? Also wanted to ask to be sure if the antennas from an S1 will work on an S3? I have some more broken down laptops around here I will mess with and see if I can find an antenna. I was looking for the big gold color screw piece and not the little black wire connector piece that is connected to the board. Well that's cool I will try to connect it tomorrow and see. Thanks again |
