nah, theres still people stubborn enough to pump these scams out day after day. people are finally learning and theyre not sending as much now

The ponzis never actually die. They just come back with different designs/names etc. HYIPS are still popular, all of them use bitcoin. Several pyramids are also acitve atm. But we mostly get to hear about them when they scam.

They haven't died but people have stopped feeding them. Even yesterday I sae some ponzies showing up, but no one on the forum tried to gain or profit from that ponzi. I think the community has had its lesson and they will stay away from ponzies in the future.

I didn't bother to send them money when they were interesting. After all they were scam!
Why should we send money to scam? They still aren't dead.
So many ponzies have opened up in the past few days but I guess the ponzi operator have to be satisfied by sending money themselves and keep on paying out to their own addresses.

When people stop sending them the money it means that they are dead. Soon I hope to see no new ponzies coming up and then we would have the burial of the ponzies.

Yes. I saw a ponzi on games section that was asking its users to buy some puppies and earn silver and shit. Ponzies try to hide themselves in different games but they always get caught eventually.

Right. But I think OP refers to explicit Ponzi schemes... those kinds of Ponzis actually seem to have lost their appeal, at least in this forum.

Yeah. But still a ponzi is a ponzi and people have abandoned investing in any kind of ponzi and that's a good sign for the growth of "mankind" :P

People stop investing in ponzi, because those greedy people have lost their bitcoin already. :)

You cannot blame a certain set of people for funding ponzies. There are a lot more greedy people who till now have not invested in ponzi.

True there are more greedy people in the world, but at least they realize those "double your bitcoin" sites are obvious scams and keep their greed under control.

I guess there are even those people who think that " its just 0.01BTC, so lets try out the website! It would be great if I get a double!"
And like this if 10 people deposit 0.2BTC in total then its enough for the ponzi operator to run away with and this is what happens. And then people come and complain "Why you scam me? WHY U NO RETURN MY MONEY" and other crap.

The point is not about having a lot of ponzi threads. Its all about having a community who doesn't want to invest in those ponzies and thus the ponzies are dying.

People always love and always will love the promise of free double money in return, no matter how you present it.
At least when I promise it I do my best for doing it, and I'm 90% always successfull in that.
So I'm better than a ponzi cause I put mind in what I do, and I never try to scam when someone needs my help.

You are a hero and you can make people invest in shit. But its really sad to see people investing in ponzies created by scammers who are completely new to this forum and are not afraid of loosing their reputation.

They will run with the btc that have been sent or cheat for profit.

Hopefully the ponzi trend should be over soon. The last month has been crazy interms of ponzis.

okay, okay, I meant ponzis are dying out.

There was tons of ponzis around till a few days ago. the number and volume has drastically reduced. So it should be over soon, hopefully. :)

The number of new ponzies coming up have stayed constant. But the people who feed these ponzies have stopped to feed them.

There are almost 3-4 ponzis that come out everyday .
Might take a while for them to die down to 0 per day . Before this we just had 1 per month.

Something needs to be done about ponzis, perhaps a new section for them.

Yes, there has been a constant demand for a new section for ponzies but all the mods have ignored this request.

yes, at least we see 2 ponzies everyday. And I don't know why ponzi operators are wasting their time on buying domains and setting up a site to which no one is going to send money.

Ponzies are now officially dead and wont come back for at least half an year.

I am afraid of that as well. If these Ponzis were profitable at all, they will definitely find their way back here, in one way or the other.
sadly, there is always enough people to fool to encourage scams.

Unfortunately, ponzis aren't going anywhere. As long as there will be desperate and gullible people, these ponzis will be there to scrap-up their money.

People feed these ponzies because they are greedy. They think they can make a lot of money in a short period of time.
