Title: Why not Quantitative easing for the middle class?
Post by: cuddaloreappu on February 01, 2015, 06:02:51 AM
Instead of printing money and giving it to the banks and the 1% , why cant the money printers handle that money directly in the hands of the middle class..

Sure they will go out and buy stuff and that will stimulate economy far better than the super rich driven trickle down economics.

That's crazy talk. I suppose you want the rich and corporations to actually pay their taxes too, huh?  ::)

Money printing destroys the middle class, if you knew anything about how currencies work you'd realise why money printing in any form is a bad idea.

Even if your idea were to be done in a country the end result would still be the same, money printing destroys wealth, it doesn't create it, the supply of currency shouldn't be messed with after it's been created or at the very least should increase at a predictable rate like some cryptocurrencies do.
