Nah, you must have missed it. It's there (https://thebitcoinstrip.com/satoshibet.html). BitCasino is listed as not provably fair because, as far as I can see, it isn't. I don't see anything on the website indicating that it is.

Site looks good but there have been sites with same concept before and they either died or were not updated. Let's hope you keep this up and running and honest.

Very nice site! Just one minor correction for MoneyPot, the house edge is actually 0 to 1%, as opposed to 1%. This is more than a technicality, as most best are placed with a pretty low house edge (our historical house edge has been 0.11%). Also for the careful gambler, playing with +EV is quite realistic. For someone who cares about gambling with the best odds, it's pretty unique.

Also, there's a stats page: https://www.moneypot.com/stats which you can scrape. The stats load take a few seconds, as they're computed on demand (and cached for 5 minutes) but if that's something you would like improved, it's not a problem for me to do so.

IMO, there are too many dice sites in the market offering a lower edge than SD and more feature than SD.

The house edge data isn't quite right for other sites either.
For Peerbet, the edge for dice is 1% but the edge for wheel is 3.125%.
For PocketDice, the edges are different for different bets but are all above 1.67%.
etc.

Thanks for the link to the stats page. I'll be switching to that now. I noticed, however, that you don't have the maximum profit listed on that page; it would be awesome if you did. Also, what is the difference between "Total Plays" and "Total Games"? Are any of them appropriate for the "bet count" field?

I've changed the edge to 0.11% and I'll try to keep it to the historical/average house edge. I think this is fair for now, but it may change in the future (see below).


I'm not quite sure what to do about sites with varying house edges yet. Should I go by the lowest, or the most common house edge, or the mean across all games, or should I just bite the bullet and change the codebase so that it can understand "varying house edges" (eg. "Edge: 1.67 - 3.125%")?

IMHO, it is better to list the range as it reflects the whole picture.
If you use the lowest one, you will have to mark moneypot's edge as 0% which will be very misleading.

But if the change in your code is going to be difficult, I think you could use "Varies" in the general information section and add a paragraph in your review for the house edge.

It's not too difficult. Just a bit inconvenient. I'll try to get to it some time today.

MP is round based, where each round is a called a "game". And people have a "play" on the game. So "Total Plays" exactly the bet count.



I think it makes sense to include a range, as it's the only way to get a real picture. For instance, sites like safedice.com allow you to play small for 0.5%, but any serious bet has to pay a lot more (which, I think is a great scheme). Or MP does allow you to make a bet with a 0% house edge, at the expense of being insanely vulnerable to p2p bonus sniping (which is why so few people ever make a bet like that)

Also you appear to be parsing MP stats a bit wrong. There's a million bits to a bitcoin, so 47,507,892,252 bits wagered should be 47.5k BTC (not 4.75k).

Some random ideas:

* Add a radio button to the left of the filters, with 'sort by'. Maybe: "Wagered", "Bankroll", "Max Profit", "Rating"

* Add a weekly wagered ranking sidebar (Look at dicesites.com, that's my favorite of their features) and some daily/weekly/monthly wagerd to the leaderboard

* In the actual results, add the casino name in text (So people can ctrl+f for a particular casino)

* Add the rating to the results (especially so if narrowed down by "reviewed casinos" )

Having a look at the leaderboard, what causes some of the big sites to have such strange wagered amounts? (e.g. https://thebitcoinstrip.com/dicecoin-stats.html and https://thebitcoinstrip.com/fortunejack-stats.html ) with some spikes 1000x the norm, and other days with negative amounts wagered.

it could be due to some error or perhaps a few big roller come in deposit a bunch and try their luck there?  ::) ::) or could be both oo ryan :D

I'm really loving the site.

Although there appears to be issues with lots of the stats collection:

Crypto-Games (https://thebitcoinstrip.com/crypto-games-stats.html) is getting parsed wrong (it seems to interpret 175.33 as 17,533). The Fortune Jack (https://thebitcoinstrip.com/fortunejack-stats.html) stats definitely have problems too (negative wagered is not possible, and those spikes are unrealistic). mydice.co (https://thebitcoinstrip.com/mydice.co.html) also has a similar problems as fortune jack. In their site they advertise a total of 50 BTC wagered, but your stats show 173 in the last day.

You also might want to reset the stats on bitdice.me (https://thebitcoinstrip.com/bitdice-stats.html) to when they restarted their stats as the charts aren't very readable the way it is =)

Crypto-Games: Most likely a bug on my end. Sounds like a quick fix.

FortuneJack: Honestly, I've looked at the logs over and over and it seems to be correct on my end. I know negative wagered is not possible. It's probably an issue with FortuneJack sometimes display old/cached stats instead of actual live numbers sometimes.

MyDice.co: I'll look into that.

BitDice: Yeah, that's annoying.

Fixed Crypto-Games. They used to display stats differently but they must have changed it recently. FortuneJack and myDice.co, I don't know how to fix this but I'll look into it later. Going to just reset BitDice's history now.

Before publishing you should check if the written is true.

Was it fair at the time?  Changes are made all the time to sites and you can't always rereview them

if there is some changes with your site, you should either contact oldmate to re-review your site or actually tell him some changes that occured at your site, with so many sites that he had review, he cant keep all the record in a site very upto date, if his review isnt fair according to you, you can PM him with the issue because it is not like he is spreading lie about your site

It wasnt. He published review 15 hours ago. We made changes 2 weeks ago.

I did. If we would made those changes after an review, there would be no problems. But we make changes before review was published. He's showing us in a bad light, here's the problem.

- There was a chat when I reviewed it. It was dead and was any old IRC plugin thrown in
- Unless you want to hire me, I'm not pointing out the dozens of spelling mistakes.
- You removed the banner on the front page now, but when I reviewed there was a huge banner
- Even with extremely low server load, there is still lag where the rolly circle pops up
- You added that FSC2 coin later

I don't care if you change things up later on. We reviewed the site at the time, and it takes alot of work to review it fully and publish. If your casino isn't better than the other ones, we aren't going to lie and make it look good. Your review stands. You can't pay us to make it better, just improve your website. If you make major, notable changes I might consider re-reviewing it.

are you oldmate? it is quite confusing that if bumblebee is actually oldmate or both bumblebee and oldmate are partnering for the bitcoinstrip sites

I'm sure there are lots of people who would be willing to help you out on this one. You could even run it as a promotion, giving free bits out to people who find mistakes or clean up the language.


As an example, some of the English is very jilted and comes across rather poorly:

I think Mr. DogecoinMachine read the article, and used the criticism to change things up. That's not how it works, and you have tons more to fix before your ratings move anywhere. Our standards are high, if you want your site to get a 5 in any of the areas, work for it. Don't beg and complain. For websites there's always room for improvement, and for your site especially there's an exceptional amount of work that can be done. Why not try and make it better instead of complaining?

I'm aware that we must fix A LOT, but I'm not accepting todays review with things that are 2 weeks old. If you publish an review, publish it with things up to date. Currently we don't even want 5 stars, because we don't deserve it and we know that.

You keep making small changes day to day, or even every week or two. I'm not going to update it each time you make changes. Once you feel like enough changes have been made and it these changes will definitely improve your ratings, please contact me. Until then, don't bug me about your ratings. I personally think these ratings, and the review is fair. There's no arguement, we don't bias our reviews based on if we like it or not. We give the cold hard facts. It's hard to make that not fair.

tl;dr improve your site much more before complaining.

Instead of taking someones criticism so to heart, maybe pick up on what they said and work on it so your site actually stands out from the rest. For example the Spelling mistakes are a great way to start. I agree with him in that regard.

His site is great, in the sense that he lists majority of the sites that are there, as for his reviews they are based on his opinion and like he said in the OP, are 100% honest. If you don't like his honesty, then don't post.

Too many wrong data in their reviews. They should firstly check old reviews for incorrect data... then maybe add new ones. :)

When we wrote to them about our review and told them about mistakes, they told us to send them 50$ so they write new review. We don't need new review, just remove wrong data in it. Then maybe we can give you 50 cents for your hard work.

Hey, I just wanted to say that i started to use your site more and more recently and even though i thought the market was already too filled with these kind of sites i have found thebitcoinstrip.com to be really helpful. Especially the main page showing the total amount wagered in the last 24h and how much top casinos have went up or down. Though im wondering how accurate stats on sites that don't show the amount wagered & the profit(example:PrimeDice) are. As for the reviews, they are detailed and informative though i don't really see the point in giving every half decent casino 5/5 as the final rating. This sadly makes the rating not very useful for finding out what the best site is. I would suggest to up the highest score to 10 and only give out 10's rarely.
Overall, really helpful site!

LOL, as somebody who plays on Diggit a lot, I can say that the site has it's good and bad.  There is a thread for it here on on BTC Talk that you can peruse and see what regulars complain about but through all that we have fun and the people in chat deal with a lot of crap but I enjoy them immensly so I still stick around.  The game itself is good and the website is well put together.

Thank you. There are a few sites that the crawler has apparently been screwing up lately. These are mostly easy fixes on my end though. For CasinoBitcoi.in, all I'm doing is looking at your homepage, parsing it and finding the values under the "games-counter" and "games-wagered" elements. Really simple. Somehow, either your fault or mine (happy to say it's mine) this was giving incredibly skewed numbers for a short period of time. I've removed those entries for now but I'm not able to find the problem on my end. At the moment I think the numbers match.

If your architecture permits it, it's not a bad idea to dump and save the raw page on every crawl. It'll be insanely useful for debugging and being able to assign blame )

Yep, that's a good idea. It'll require a bit of change to my code actually, cause of the way its built (I'll spare the details, but the crawler bot is very modular and uses different HTTP libraries for different websites where required). I'll try to get on to that tomorrow. Thanks. :)

I've suspended DiceNow from the leaderboard / live stats because I frankly don't believe the statistics they publish. $170B wagered all-time? That's 170x more than SatoshiDice.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I've been extremely busy offline. Due to me having a hard time balancing my offline work and online, I've decided to hire a site manager to push out reviews and keep casino information up to date.

Edit: Seems to have some wrong info regarding the faucet feature of quantum dice on your site. We offer a faucet which gives out 200 satoshi every 5 minutes. No limits on that ;)

 That means for the whole week primedice had 3k$ wagered , since today is wednesday thats 3 days , which means around 1k$ for a day and 30k$ for a month. I was expecting a little more from them.

Are you talking about the "Most wagered this week" on https://thebitcoinstrip.com/leaderboard.html ?
If it is the case, you'd better recheck the number. I am seeing $3 million rather than $3 thousand.

Why is that the website is promoting a scam site? mydice are a scam site and not paying for their competition https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1093373.60 . You can read on that thread that alot of people is still waiting to get paid for the competition and also your website is wrong, they have 1078 bitcoin wagered but in your site they have 8795 bitcoin wagered

Looks like that have counted all the bets on bitcoin and also on other altcoins.
For example, that dice site has 445,896 ltc wagered, which is worth ~6577 btc at current price.

If a casino is proven to be a scam, I'll delist it. Until then, I'm sorry but I am not going to blacklist a sponsor simply because of one unproven accusation against their marketing team. The wagered amounts include other cryptocurrencies, maybe it is that?

btw on you site is (for our app) the Maximum payout 0.4 BTC but the max payout is now 1.8 BTC

This site is again no longer being updated, Oldmate I sent you an email or two is this project done? If not can you please recheck the api for BetterBets.io as its not showing any current or accurate data. If people are looking at the data on this site for reference it is inaccurate for many sites and should not be considered valid unless updated.

I know you removed Pocket Rockets Casino because you didn't like that I made a new affiliate system that actually benefited you but I know you normally keep track of PRC investment still.

You will need to update the url to https://betking.io now to keep the stats in check. (You can eve add your affiliate id from account page)

Also if you are really providing honest reviews and statistics you should really add BetKing.io back in since it's still one of the biggest and most popular sites.

Though you do still have dadice in there which is a proven scam that I warned about when they first launched.
