Title: BTC Price Drop
Post by: mezmerizer9 on February 02, 2015, 04:13:50 AM
I wasn't paying the Bitcoin  progress for a past few months and when I came back I saw that the price has dropped for about 100$. What has lead to that drop and when is it expected to rise up?

Welcome back, you obviously pay almost no attention to the price if you just stick your head above water just to make a comment after a few months and complain, thus you have none. There's no person that has an investment that doesn't check the market or the price multiple times a day or once a day, much less every other day or less. Traders gonna trade and whales gonna stick and move a playa.

This is nothing really, there are some huge dumps coming like we've never seen before.. Causing panic and even more decline than ever before in the process.

Anything is possible. And nothing has been confirmed to the upside yet, so still in a bear market.

It hasn't dropped by 100$, but by300-400$ , depending on the month you had been active on the forum.

Nobody can tell you if or when it will rise up, and if they do they are lying.

Unless they are a big holder of USD and BITCOIN and they can manipulate the market.

Well, if they are a big holder of btc, then they can contribute to a fall, not a rise.
Someone willing to put in the dollar amount might contribute to the rise.

So very true ... unless you've got 2000 btc + or a half a million dollars us + you don't get to decide what the market is ... the handful of people (100 or so) who comprise the early adopter cabal , plus the exchanges involved in active insider trading using your money are able to jerk the price back and forth at a whim for their own continued profits ...

thieves, coinbase, scammer, manipulation, and so on, but despite all of those, it's now stable at 224

Drop because of high inflation. (3600 coins every 24h)
Rising back is not guaranteed.
Personally i think it'll be called a shitcoin next year.
It's certainly not rising a lot and actually staying up before the halving in 2020

Bottom line: you bought a decade too early. It isn't ready yet. We need to wait more years.

It's just the way markets work. People haven't decided that we haven't reached the real bottom and still need to go further down in order to achieve a trend-reversal. No news about China, no big government-bans or anything. Mere speculation!
