I have never heard of it either.  I would go with a more well known wallet.

Always check you are visiting the actual site not a phishing site and you're fine.

Also, if you want to generate keys yourself visit bitaddress.org and also check signatures to verify the site!

Quote from: github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0038.mediawiki#abstract
A method is proposed for encrypting and encoding a passphrase-protected Bitcoin private key record in the form of a 58-character Base58Check-encoded printable string. Encrypted private key records are intended for use on paper wallets and physical Bitcoins. Each record string contains all the information needed to reconstitute the private key except for a passphrase, and the methodology uses salting and scrypt to resist brute-force attacks.

See : https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0038.mediawiki(recommended) and https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/bip38-password-encrypted-wallets/ .

Greenaddress is pretty safe. Even though it is online, they only keep one of the key to authorize the payment. They need the other key to steal your funds. Even if they close down, you can still recover the BTC you kept there using the nlocktime function.
