Title: [WTB] Antminer S2 / Gridseed Blade / Fury 1.3 Scrypt Post by: ncsupanda on February 05, 2015, 01:30:23 AM Really looking for small units that are easy to ship - anything local is great too. Free electricity means I'm open to it all. Scrypt and SHA-256 is fine. I'll do any deal with escrow. (Please avoid the "free electricity debate" if possible).
I'm in the Raleigh NC area. Feel free to PM me, or post here. Title: Re: [WTB] Non-profitable Miners Post by: ncsupanda on February 06, 2015, 01:16:47 AM Up. Thanks!

I think that's redundant... Title: Re: [WTB] Non-profitable Miners Post by: desertfox470 on February 19, 2015, 10:33:28 PM "Non-profitable Miners" Just because he is looking for an S2? I think he is referencing the price of Bitcoin versus what miners make, etc... Between upfront equipment cost, electricity, price of BTC, difficulty, number of large-scale mining operations, and of course time itself, I don't see how mining on a small scale can even break even these days. I agree. All BTC miners are non-profitable. Except for the thousand-dollar ones that will barely ROI and make you a dollar, all miners are non-profitable. My partner has 2 of them he is looking to get rid of, shipping would be from 66221 KS I'm assuming shipping to be ~50. Looking for around 100 per unit. That puts the break even day so far in the future, but still. Found a local seller for 100 so I plan to buy those as well. I appreciate your quick reply, unfortunately I don't think we are anywhere near on price. Amazon has them going for around 400 each, so even after fees that is still over 3 times that amount. Ebay seems to be a little less but similar. Good luck on your purchase though.
