Looks to me like BS. You can look into the blockchain. First blocks still unspent.
i figured so. i took a look at the bitcoin subreddit just now and theres nothing related to this "story" at all there...

Coindesk prints a lot of bullshit.  Remember who they work for.  (Also bullshit link anyway)

Totally fake, second topic to say something like this.

Whats satoshi's big address anyways?

Satoshi doesn't have 1 address, he have multiple ones with 50 BTC (Coins per block he obtained when solo-mining in 2009).

You can look them in the blockchain starting from 1,2,3.... But no one can really confirm which ones are owned by Satoshi

Another news! Bitcoin claimed to be 21st century biggest scam! Satoshi arrested by CIA agents. All coins seized!

it's a 404 page, thus the thread is for humor only

Now that's just ludicrous. Satoshi is anonymous so how can he be arrested. Also another 404 error... these links seem to be really accurate

If Satoshi moved coins, there'd be the biggest-ever (by far) spike in bitcoin-days-destroyed:
https://blockchain.info/charts/bitcoin-days-destroyed

If it wasn't already painfully obvious, OP is full of it.

Fake news someone probably edited a coindesk url to create some fear
If Satoshi moved his coins someone would notice especially with Bitcoin Days Destroyed
That would be quite the bump

http://cointelegraph.com/news/113539/bitcoin-claimed-to-be-21th-century-biggest-scam

This URL is 100% fake (not that I needed to tell you). The number 113539 is a post ID put in by cointelegraph. Each time they post an article, this number increases by one. Currently they are on 113439 and won't hit 113539 for another 100 articles. Not only that, it's spelt wrong ("21th").

Either OP is a time traveller that has travelled from the future to warn us or he has made up these URL's in a really bad attempt at trolling/spreading FUD.

LOL

This guy is nothing more then a troll. This is not true (obviously) and the link he gave is invalid.

This guy was also complaining in meta about too many people trolling his altcoin so he is now trying to troll bitcoin

Coindesk is probably a shill for a lot of people, and I can say that without having to come back and retract this statement later.  But what I was thinking of specifically, was this:

http://www.coindesk.com/bitpay-partners-1-5-billion-international-payment-startup-adyen/

Read the fine print in the article, and you see the "disclaimer," which reads:

"Disclaimer: CoinDesk founder Shakil Khan is an investor in BitPay."

Essentially, CoinDesk is serving here just as an advertising channel for BitPay, not as any real press organization.  As I've pointed out in a post on the Foundation forum, BitPay is one of a variety of companies that has joined the Windhover group, whose goals are completely against everything that we should be standing for, as I explain more thoroughly here:

It's not rocket science.

You can just check the block chain to see if he moved his coins.
