Maybe it's related to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=941331.0 ?

Lots of little things to notice on this.

Otherwise it wouldn't be a CfB riddle :D

Ripple is primarily controlled by one single company, so it should not be included.

fairly certain logical arguments aren't accepted in CfB's musings. ;)

OK, that site probably/usually does include Ripple w/ actual current standings, but neither 'reality' or parody should include XRP.

One should identify coins that are not affected by the Bitcoin 1 MB limit / 20 MB fork issue, since this is the main message of the OP's post. When it comes to POW coins the obvious candidates are the Cryptonotes starting of course with Monero. By the way I found out about Monero totally by accident, when I came across this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=624223.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=624223.0), while researching the 1MB blocksize limit in Bitcoin. This is an issue that has concerned me for a long time, going back to 2012 / 2013.

If there is a major fiasco in Bitcoin involving the 1 MB limit / 20 MB fork issue there is a very good chance that Monero would benefit significantly price wise. Of course there are other alt-coins that are also not affected. I would be interested to see which other proof of work alt-coins do not have a baked in blocksize limit that prevent the coin from scaling regardless of any improvements in technology. I am not a fan of proof of stake, but I do recognize that others are, so again identifying those proof of stake coins that are not so impacted would also be useful.

I wonder if there is a single thread on this forum where people not try to advertise their investments in monero.

I don't hate Ethereum nor I like Ripple. But the pattern is clear: higher innovation = lower marketcap.

I think CfB is right that 'corporate cryptos' are likely to make headway in the short term (1year). This will pave the way those that still value genuine decentralisation.

I think the goal is stated in the youtube tab - 'Enigma 7-The Same Parents'  ;D

...
Then why isn't Doge #1?

Because Dogecoin has the same or worse fixed blocksize limitation issue as Bitcoin. Same problem with Litecoin, Namecoin, Darkcoin, Peercoin the list goes on. How far down the list does one have to go to find a proof of work coin that that is not a Cryptonote and is not plagued by this issue. What I find really interesting is that none of the close Bitcoin clones have jumped on the opportunity of dealing with the fixed  blocksize limit issue. Doge and LTC being the most obvious examples.

Edit: Peercoin is proof of stake and still has this blocksize limitation!

See up thread. He implies that if BTC doesn't make changes to fix its problems (scaleability by increasing blocksize for one) then it is doomed to irrelevance.

'Bircoin' is the adapted version. 'Original Bitcoin' is today's unchanged version.

I don't think that is what CfB is implying at all.

How did you interpret this? If they go to 20mb blocks they are doomed?

If they go to 20mb blocks, they are increasing centralization.

As it would require enormous resources to cope with the load of running a node, making it only viable to institutions/corporations?

The BTC logo in second place is diffetent, its familiar but I don't know where from. The XBT code also implies it has been created to integrate into current systems  > corporate crypto. Interest in making money rather than a better world, it seems.

You won't believe, I just adjusted my computer time 1 year ahead and it did work.

Interesting if setting the time 3 years back and opening MtGox will let me buy cheap bitcoins...

Overanalysis:

- the song on the first tab was released right when the banks when south in 2008 which led to the beginning of bitcoin
- song also has some interesting lyrics worth investigation
- Medici tab and supernet newsletter tab open.
-  not sure what the first and last icons are, maybe jinn stuff

Lots of details. the 23 DACs is new. Medici will still be there but it does not mean Medici will be using Bitcoin blockchain.

I did not see the time. Is it the future in one year?

Ripple at the first place...  :D

Really nice joke there, you think they can handle the centralized crap they generated ?
Manipulating the price won't enforce your success in the future Ripple.

If you look carefully, you'll see that the available number of XRP seems to have jumped by almost 50% during C-f-Bs journey into the future.

What is the difference between a currency and a DAC?

I can only guess that New Economy Movement transformed into a more sophisticated phenomenon than just a currency. This wouldn't be surprising taking into account skills and enthusiasm of its developers.

What is the difference? Ha, just keep an eye on NEM and you'll get it.
