This tech would involve 100w being delivered to the laptop computer through an A/C adapter that plugged into USB 3.0. I doubt said laptop would be able to output anywhere near that much power on the same port. This would still be a nice standard for Windows laptops though.

I'm sure some enthusiast motherboards would throw in at least one 100W port just as a feature list bullet point if for no other reason.

Gigabyte already likes to advertise it's overspec USB power delivery.
