Anyone who has been using Abe should be able to provide this. I've never run it.

Just began to setup an abe server and it's building an abe.sqlite, currently on block ~175k if you still need the file when it's done I'll make it so you can download a copy of it

Why is this posted in the altcoin marketplace?

Progress report: Currently on block ~192k if you are already generating your own (or get from another user) let me know and I'll not worry about this anymore. While it may be 2/3 the way through the blocks it's roughly 1/10 the way through the transactions so it could be a bit yet.

Thanks mate but i think this also will take too long, myself is at block 200k-somthing (sqlite). i guess this needs another 1 or 2 weeks to finish. i need someone who have it already full (one/tow days behind no problem)

if it is okay with you, you can keep generating maybe your pc is faster or something ( im using i5 with 6gb ram and commit size set to 10000), if you finished before me it will be great and you'll get the bounty (you'll finish it anyway before me cuz sometimes i shutdown the pc and continue later lol)

PM me if i took long to reply.

Why is this posted in the altcoin marketplace?

cuz it is very active more than others lol

Thanks

I'm at ~210k with 9mil transactions so 2/3 blocks 1/5 transactions

Mine is on a server running 24/7 so it will likely pass you. 2x Intel 5650 (I think) dual core HP BL460C Dual X5150 with 16GB ram

Edit: updated server spec

When it's done you can send the BTC to 15nYhS6JyyzCpvcD7RiNReZKeishuSFvhm

So far the abe.sqlite file is 11GB and it's on block ~213k with ~10.1 million transactions and the server is currently using 15/16 GB of ram, wonder how much longer it will take.

Where do you have that saved?  Your desktop or on a server?

Curious how long that'll take to transfer now.

Additionally I'm going to keep syncing just in case anything should go wrong ;)
Block ~270k

While mine would transfer the 7z faster I believe I'm still more than 40 hours out on finishing the sync and the bounty is likely yours, congrats.

you can calculate your remaining time. if you know how long you sync your db (current size) and if you know that final size is 78.8GB (i guess a few weeks)

I don't know about you, but I would rather have whatever server that dagi has... His was fast.

I don't know about you, but I would rather have whatever server that dagi has... His was fast.

Well first off his wasn't a server he said it's his desktop pc. As I stated earlier the server I'm running is rather old 2.66Ghz from 2009 whereas dagi probably has a 4Ghz modern i5 or something ;)

While it is entirely possible to get a faster cpu in a server it's often not needed as in general servers are meant for parallel operations not intense single threaded work.

All while Abe was doing it's thing the server also compiled a new alt coin daemon synced with it's network, built an entire abe.sqlite for the alt coin, is now running as an explorer for said alt.

The biggest factor in my choice of processor is price however ;)
