SWIFT, the global provider of secure financial messaging systems and standards used in the financial world, is set to discuss Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and crypto-protocols that might disrupt corresponding banking at the SWIFT Business Forum in New York. The move comes as SWIFT is set to expand into creating messaging protocols for a variety of financial transactions, including retail payments.
