I hope a lot of people are doing this.  We are still way before "consumer adoption" phase right now.  Its a little depressing, but we've all got to be patient.

My biggest concern is that merchants are going to start discontinuing their acceptance of Bitcoin if consumer adoption doesn't take off soon.

I honestly wonder how many months / years we've got before the lack of sales in the form of Bitcoin motivates them to take the option off the table.

I've got an online store and am offering 10% off right now.  In 4 months I've had 1 sale in Bitcoin.  And that's with roughly 20 orders a day.

Either way - great to hear!

Yeah, we should persuade more restaurants to adopt btc.
I'm sick of carrying cash around.

Cool. I can imagine it's going to be a norm someday.

I don't see why a merchant would stop accepting Bitcoin. It doesn't cost them anything unless they've built up and staffed an entire department to manage their Bitcoins.
