Did someone sell me a broken miner? If so, I probably won't buy from a website like amazon ever again. Nothing recognizes it, not even BFGMiner. But, maybe there are some other things to check too like the others said. Could just be a simple setting overlooked. I agree with the device manager comment. Open device manager and plug/unplug it to be sure it pops up and then go into that device and start looking at properties. Could just be a driver conflict issue. What OS are you running? Might just need an update to the OS.
