Title: Bill Murray - Murraycoin Foundation
Post by: snakey on February 09, 2015, 11:33:37 AM
Hey guys whats your thoughts on Bill Murray and Murraycoin raising funds for charities?

Do you think it will be successful? The Dev has had meetings with Bill Murrays Foundation and they love the idea, they even told Bill Murray about it and guess what.....No cease and desist letters which is great news.

They attended and promoted murraycoin at Bill Murrays Caddyshack Golf Tournament last year in March and will be doing so again this year.

The foundation has over 500,000 murryacoins donated already.

Is this a winner?

Bill Murray is known to do crazy things, you think he will back it since its been one year and he has not closed it down?

Read ? dosent even matter the law suit can come and go when ever the scam starts. Its like you are giving the dev your money for free.
In other words the dev already have 100% control over your coins, don't matter how good you secure your coins.

Its been 1 year and they have spoken to Bill Murrays Foundation who informed him about the coin and guess what....No lawsuit.

If you had a read first then you would know what the dev has achieved prior to murraycoin and know he is legit.

Stealthcoin loves to let his cock holster flap in the wind.  I wouldn't concern yourself with his bullshit.

Stealthcoin lost his money in some scam coin and now runs rampant in the forums calling every coin a scam.

MurrayCoin has been around for a very long time, and is still alive though not exactly super active. I've got it on my short list of "stuff that's possibly not a complete scam".

I like Bill Murray, be good to have him actually come on board with MurrayCoin.

BTW:
The Chive  (http://thechive.com/?s=murray) has a Bill Murray / charity thing going on......good contact for MurrayCoin, if they haven't already

Thanks guys for letting me know about Stealthcoin.

Appreciate the support.

Will let the Dev know about Chive.

Cheers.

You're saying Murraycoin is a scam. It's you who has no idea what you are talking about.

If you accuse every coin and project to be a scam here you will likely be right more often than not, just not this time.

No you didn't even read what i said, critics that the DEV can run away with your money when ever he wants is a real problem and i show people how they "COULD" do it because it happened with a different coin already.

Cool, then make a general thread that warns people that it can happen with any coin, spamming it here means you're referring to Murraycoin directly.

I can't follow that you were also in that coin called XC ? The coin with the scam cartel inside which is now in the Blocknet scam clone ?

I was never a supporter of XC, quite contrary.

folks this thread is for MURRAY COIN and the foundation/charity itself, please KEEP THE THREAD to that discussion and not get off topic.  is nobody here over the age of 20-something?!

nobody gives two shits about other coins given the current (or past) alt-coin actions that have been going on the in crypto-world, and they have no bearing on or association to murraycoin.  murraycoin and its dev will stand alone (in due time) just fine without worry or fear of being a scam (as it is obviously not), and its community does not car for useless shitcoins/scam coins currently in the marketplace.

thanks and good night, don't forget to tip your waitress.

There is a reason why people, i call them manipulators or scammers because they are these one who make alle P&D just to lure you in so they can drop on you.
Snake don't be a fool i'm a way longer in this forum to know how things turn and why you are always using new accounts to hide your real identity

New accounts? what are you on about?

This thread is about murraycoin, please keep it about murraycoin.

Also instead of giving a negative review on everything, why dont you let people make up there own mind.

The information is in all the links, the Dev is working to get things going with the foundation and has had meetings so before you make stuff up make sure you READ everything.

I post on this thread to show support for something that has great potential. MurrayCoin actually looks really promising compared to many other altcoins in general. This is largely due to its association with Bill Murray; Once an official endorsement from Bill Murray and/or his foundation is made, the base of this coin will officially be set. It really seems that it can have a unique potential in that it can be the first legitimate "celebrity" coin; the coin could complement any activity involving the celebrity, and not just charity. Not to forget it can provide all the low cost and global transactions that the parent bitcoin provides, as long as people accept it as a legitimate means of paying one another.
