I stay in the US and looks like espn3 needs special subscription to be purchased for all matches.
I would appreciate if any of you have an extra stream line for world cup package for espn3 which you could share:

Thanks!

Always amazes me how baseball is so popular in the states while cricket is so popular elsewhere. Kinda like the football vs soccer thing I guess.

I won't be travelling to Australia or New Zealand, but being a cricket fan I'll be watching most of the matches at home.

Baseball is so damn complicated, its hard to believe that the fat-ericans are actually good at something that is so complicated.

You heard of the FIFA Soccer world cup right ?
In 2014 32 nations participated in the final rounds it doesnt mean that only 32 nations in the world play Football and that there are only 32 nations in the world. So kindly dont post idiotic comments here man.

There maybe only 14 countries playing the finals this year but there are way more number of countries who actually play and enjoy this sport, maybe you dont but dont express that frustration here.

And before commenting on a country and calling it a freeloading country, first learn how to spell 'countries' properly.

The first day offered no surprises.
New Zealand and Australia scored comfortable victories.
They definitely seem favourites to top their group.

Bangladesh manage to comprehensively beat Afghanistan this time around.  :)

The next battle of the minnows is up today - UAE vs Zimbabwe. Who will be the winner today? Zimbabwe managed to put up a strong show against South Africa.

I am excited, great game between India and SA
India again wasted the last 5 overs but 307 is at very least competitive, good contest

Didnt have time to follow the matches so far but have seen the highlights of Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka & Kiwi killers vs Tea drinkers. (Newzealand vs England)

Have to say the Srilanka match was a total flop for lankan fans, if it werent for dumb luck they would have had their asses handed to them by the Afghanis - who by the way put up a gallant performance and an exciting match.

On the other hand England were an utter disappointment they toppled over each other at a total run with only 120+ on the board. The kiwis responded with McCullum's awesome 77 runs in 25 balls (correct me if I am wrong) he really used his Indian T20 experience and poured it all out on the field. There were moments of awesomeness in the match by the English but like the commentator said 'too little too late'.

On the contrary actually, India were considered a weak team until the last world cup, before that we only won 1 full overs world cup and that was in 1983. India's win in the 2011 world cup in my book was all because of the momentum we had going into the tournament. Unlike in 2007 where we were simply embarrassed by our 1st round exit; that time we were prepared.

But coming into the 2015 World Cup I feel our players are VERY exhausted, with all the domestic tournaments and the T20's taking a toll on the player's fitness. So far our side has shown little weakness but only time will tell if we have enough gas to see this one through the end.

And about Pakistan... they have 1 World Cup under their belt and a T20 world cup under their belt, their players perform well in many tournaments but they generally arent really 'dangerous' but they certainly do have their moments. I am sure a Pakistani would tell you a completely different story about their team.

How are people in the US watching the matches? It's on ESPN for $99 and that seems to be the only option

People in US really dont give a crap about Cricket lol even the Indians there are concerned with baseball & ice hockey & basketball & what not.

And those people that have money to fly out of India and go & settle / work in USA can probably afford $99 I think; its not a permanent thing either just a few weeks or a few days of important matches at the most.

Yes, it was surprising to see South Africa collapse like this while chasing.
Since it was a league match, there must have been no additional pressure on South Africa.
Yet they collapsed like a pack of cards.

Ireland managed to get past UAE.
They are right now joint toppers in Group B, with 4 points.  ;D

Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh coming up.
After surviving a scare against Afghanistan, Sri Lanka would definitely want to win comprehensively tomorrow.

Australia seem to be favourites, in spite of the loss to New Zealand earlier.
