Title: Overclock BITMAIN ANTMINER U2 - How to???
Post by: webdba on February 10, 2015, 03:17:40 AM
 ???
Does anyone knows how to overclock. I can't find any directions on how to do it anywhere, not even at the manufacturer's website.
I am running raspberry PI B with MinePeon as OS.
I am only getting 1.9 GH/s , I would like to get them at least to 2.5
Any ideas???

I think you needed to do a voltage mod for that.you might do a google or bitcointalk search for Antminer U2 voltage mod.

You can modify it's mining frequency within BFGMiner. Try adding the flag "--anu-freq x" where x is a number between 225-275. Then just test and see which frequency setting nets you the highest hashrate while still maintaining a low error rate and you're set. 275MHz should get you to about 2.2 GH/s if your miner is stable there. Don't expect it to get to 2.2GHz or higher without some voltage modding though.
