Price is relatively stable for the last few weeks, which should be considered a good thing for medium of exchange.

The Bitfinex Buy/Sell volume during the past hour and the past 24 hours:
What nonsense is this. How the f*ck can there be more bitcoins bought than sold?

Bitcoins are traded. You can't buy a bitcoin without someone else selling one, and vice versa.

Its probably about the active order, it is, the one who activated an order already placed.

This is normal. Bitcoin is actually pretty stable for once. Hope it will keep this way since USD is very valuable right now.

The price is USD has been quite stable, but in € the price has been rising quite nicely.
It is an excellent currency hedge for those of us in the Eurozone, especially if dollar parity is around the corner.

The second thread you have bumped from a month ago, when op created this thread bitcoin was at 218-220 it is now 270 that is not stable that is all over the place and will continue to be until we get more people within bitcoin. The usd has also already peaked and now it is dropping to let you know..

WOW. This chart shows that the BTC price per Dollar is WAY OVER the moving average. That means there's a lot of opportunity for the BTC value to crash back to the mean.

The problem with these charts is that there's not enough history to make the data reliable. Additionally, the bitcoin economy is so wildly young that any crazy piece of new news can through the technical analysis out the window. It's great to have technical analysis, we need it, but we need to make buy/sell decisions carefully and inclusive of ALL information available.

Let's do what we can to keep the market efficient, meaning all available information is publicly available, and threads like this do that.

Do you realize this was from a month ago? Just drop by to speculation and economics and you will have all the graphs and information you need dude it is all there for you to take a look at and get answers from the op who might be around to help you out.

Mewtwo

The US$ is even higher now than your graph shows.  On Friday it jumped over 100 basis points IIRC.  It is at some 97.70 (my favorite quick & dirty widget for this kind of thing is ounce.me (http://ounce.me)).

Yes, I get a little bit of the willies looking at the huge rise of the dollar.  Some of the guys I read say that a big spike in the dollar is really a death dance...

Those with dollars may consider cashing them in for assets that have gone up LESS.  Gold.  Swiss Francs.  Acceptable quality bearings from China (those prices are going down hard).

Price is relatively stable for the last few weeks, which should be considered a good thing for medium of exchange.

Not really , but it has been stable in between . For example, first we were stable at 220, then after 2 weeks took a jump to 240. Then we were stable at that level, and now we jumped to 280, and are stable around here.

I'm actually hoping that they can continue this cycle until something like $2000, and then obviously the bubble pops and maybe goes back down to $400-$500 again, and that's the prime time to buy.

Is that good huh? Rise little by little although just rise for little bit. I still wait for who the winner silk road action, let's see what an action, dump or hold.
