Personally I think it's logical to think transactions will rise steadily over the next few years but I don't bother listening to speculation or forecasts and just wait to see what the future holds for bitcoin.

Title: Re: [2015-02-12] CD: Bitcoin Transactions Will Double By 2017, Research Finds Post by: mercistheman on February 13, 2015, 01:08:41 AM Using trends are only part of the projection... the bigger ticket is the "exponential factor"... an upward trend draws a lot of attention (ie. rapid rise to $1200)... it would be easy to say that this would be just another bubble, however several more new adopters will lead to sustainable growth... it's getting close to the tipping point... in the meantime the priority has to be building consumer confidence with credible fraud prevention.

People should just ignore any speculation on the price or number of transactions or rate of merchant adoption and just make their own educated guesses, though I'll just keep patiently waiting to see what the future holds. |
