It's not a coingen, It's the only sha256 coin in months with a decent diff retarget. Also, it seems to be using 20mb blocks (the ones proposed for btc but not done upstream so far). POS blocks are very smooth and fast, so far, it seems to be a well developed coin, it doesn't need a flashy pretty ann. Flashy anns are usually a bad sign, just look at epayer...
