Title: What PSU would power 2 x 6990's?

Looking for a power supply to power 2 6990's.

Can someone help me out?

I would just get a 1000W to be safe, cheap and reliable. I buy ultra modular usually

I encourage you to look at tomshardware's latest features, it has four 80+ gold power supplies rated.  One of them is only $150 compared to the $200+ others, the only downside is no modular cables (which is something I would gladly give up for cheaper psu)

Thermaltake TR2 RX 1200W here @930Mhz each core, running 24/7

TR2 slightly overrated but silent.
