Title: Escrow needed? ICO? New coin? Try it.
Post by: placebo on February 16, 2015, 02:56:07 PM
You want to start your own coin with ICO/IPO service but you don't find the right person. Then stop looking.

My escrow service:

GROW - 5.36 BTC
PEN - 3.88 BTC
RISK - 20.08 BTC!!!!
BTX - Escrow service for the crowfunding project and safe BT from being worth nothing.

Current project :

None.

How much those it cost for escrow service?

The service is a fixed price of 0.40 BTC (this include promotion of your coin to achieve good results)

Escrow rules:

1. All money will be locked till there is a working block explorer and the coin is at least 2 WEEKS old.
2. Buy wall on a exchange will be done by Escrow (me) and this for 35% of total ICO amount and will stay on the exchange for 4 WEEKS!!.
3. Buy wall will be set at a price that doesn't allow miners to dump on the buy wall and run away with profit. Buy wall will be adjusted based on mining cost.
4. DEV will receive 65% of ICO amount after 2 WEEKS!!.
5. Investors can withdraw or deposit more money till 3 days after the launch.
6. If the price is variable then the coins will be distributed based on the ICO amount three days after launch.

For more information please contact me.

It is all based on trust. not saying that people don't trust you or so :) but it is a nice alternative then playing fees for exchanges to get listed. And sometimes coins get listed without paying any fees. Like for example PENCoin (my latest escrow service). Knowing the right people to have mining pools available etc, it is not just escrow that i offer, but a range of things that should help the coin owner with a good start. ;)

Nice, thats around 5% . A bit high, but maybe fine for someone handling an ICO like that.

No 5% is not abit high for someone giving a safety measure to investors so they will/may invest more, also he promotes the coin and like a post or 2 above he is basically another member of the team.

His price is very good when you consider a ico can take a week and posting multiple times the risk involved etc

Well done OP keep up the good work  :)

Ah, you know, you have so-called twitter promotions that ask 0.25 BTC and that is just tweeting a little. I'm providing escrow too, and when i compare myself with other promoters then 0.40 BTC is cheap.

Also you have to look at it differently. A ICO on C-CEX cost 3 BTC, ok, you're listed on C-CEX but DEV lose 3 BTC. Now several of my escrow ICO hit Bittrex without any cost. so no 5 BTC listing fees etc, and if a coin is good then people will invest in it using a escrow services too.

Please note that i have updated my Escrow rules to protect the ICO investors better. Lately coins are getting on a exchange, put a buy support as one of the rules and from the moment they received all the BTCs the buy wall disappear, come back at a lower price, etc.

To protect ICO investors better, i have added some better rules.

Good Idea, aditionaly you might want to consider verifying the user, or make some kind of service like cryptoassian did for a small fee!

Verifying the user... mmm... how can i ever confirm that the ID that they sent me is really their own ID? How can i verify a payment slip or so from a country of China or Russia? If they make something up then i will never know.

It is all big problem with this industry. In fact i would do it for free, as it is important that people who invest in my escrow coins are not scammed, as this will have a impact on my name too.

Escrow service is a service that is run by a third party, for example when you are a coin owner and want to run a ICO but not using a exchange, then a lot of people will not join when there is no escrow because they are afraid, when there is a escrow then people know that they will be able to refonds their money in the situation that they didn't receive their ICO coins.
