Title: Need People for Bitcoin Interviews!!
Post by: JimJamReid on February 16, 2015, 05:44:40 PM
Hi all,

Sorry for continuously posting looking for participants, but I only need four more, so I would greatly appreciate anyone willing to help! I am currently in my last year of university and I am writing a research paper on using Bitcoin as an alternative to traditional currencies. The interviews will be conducted via Skype or Facetime, and will last 30 - 45 minutes. Really appreciate the help guys!!

Thanks :)

Are you paying people for the interviews?

Are you paying people for the interviews?

He is not.

I have participated and can confirm for anyone that is considering it that the questions are not significantly intrusive into your privacy.

In my case it was a voice call using skype.  Video was not necessary.  It took us 53 minutes, but I tend to be a bit long winded.  I'd guess that the average participant could probably get through the interview in a bit over 30 minutes.

Then perhaps you need to work on improving your reading comprehension skills?

He was lucky to talk to dannyhamilton.  DH is one of the smartest guys around here.  I was long-wind too.  This young college fellow is smart and unique compared to his countrymen.  I suggest doing the interview with this bright young fellow.

I would be surprised if the first answer would anything except asking if they are paying for interview, typical for bitcoiners to seek profit on every corner :]

So you personaly know him ? Most of bitcoin users nowdays are more profit engaged than they're focused on giving interviews, unless they see opertunity to spread some "prediction"

cheers

I don't personally know anyone on these forums.  Have lurked for years and Dannyhamilton is one of my favorites:  smart, circumspect, consistent, long history.  I did the interview and the young university student (probably half my age) is a representative of our best hope for humanity's future.  Hooray for him.  I never asked for payment and there are others here that would never consider it.  Don't discount the possibility that humanity can come from the individual without government coercion.  In fact, I think the individual is the more likely origin.
