Title: Re: New Emercoin [EMC] Blockchain Explorer Post by: Fixx on February 22, 2015, 06:43:55 PM Hello!
Sorry for my bad english! You have done a really good, modern service - viewing database blokchein! Our members have to send you a reward. Please be the in comradeship with a MessyCoin of the english-language EMC command if you want! Kind regards. Fixx. Title: Re: New Emercoin [EMC] Blockchain Explorer Post by: Valermos on February 23, 2015, 10:35:05 AM Thank you.
I'll try to help wherever I can. But I have to say that english is not my native language. ;) Title: Re: New Emercoin [EMC] Blockchain Explorer Post by: MessyCoin on March 07, 2015, 02:42:08 AM Great to see so many additions in the changelog!
a suggestion: it would be useful to see some statistics on the use of EmerCoin Name->Value System, particularly stats on the use of the DNS. *.coin, *.emc, *.lib, etc. Statistics on how many domains registered (maybe even list them), and also other statistics about use of EmerCoin's NVS (interesting to know how many NVS transactions are not involving DNS). I think there's a lot of interesting data that could be displayed in this area. I think there's a lot of interesting data that could be displayed in this area. I'll try to implement some statistics and a NVS browser as well. But I don't know if it will be possible to identify NVS transactions in the blockchain and the current emercoind version only provides listing the whole NVS at once. Therefore it won't be possible to identify the transaction at which one value was added or changed (or maybe I'm currently not aware of the feature which will provide this). -- Just found out that there is a "registered_at" value. That might help ;). I've overseen that the whole time... -- A first version of the NVS browser has been released. Title: Re: New Peercoin[PPC] & Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer Post by: Valermos on May 07, 2015, 01:43:16 PM Hi,
here is a short description of the new tracing feature. It will visualize the addresses and coins which were affected in sending those coins to a desired address. You can access this trace by clicking the new icon within the block detail page, next to each EMC input or output: https://cloud.valermos.me/index.php/s/rVy1CTWQO99kgDd/download Additionally there is a link within the transaction detail page: https://cloud.valermos.me/index.php/s/yzBINYJ8hdjMsvx/download It will trace with a maximum depth of three transactions. No matter how complex... https://cloud.valermos.me/index.php/s/FNvvmkFUhWLluw3/download ...or simple the trace will be https://cloud.valermos.me/index.php/s/RjAIWjqTGJ81Xdf/download Title: Re: New Peercoin[PPC] & Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer Post by: MessyCoin on May 19, 2015, 03:37:21 AM This latest update is really impressive, and I also love the NVS addition to the explorer.
Extremely useful, and amazing work! :) Title: Re: New Peercoin[PPC] & Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer Post by: Fixx on May 26, 2015, 04:27:58 PM Very serious and creative approach!
And I had an idea ... Title: Re: New Peercoin[PPC] & Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer Post by: Valermos on May 28, 2015, 05:55:39 PM How to use this EmerBoard release:
The EmerBoard is designed to display messages which are stored in the value field of the NVS within the blockchain. How to write a message? You can use the Emercoin client and add a new name:value pair to the NVS. The name should look like this: channel:type:subject If you don't use this name scheme it might not be accessible with this EmerBoard version. The message has to be entered in the value field. How to browse through specific messages? Please access: http://emer.coinchains.info/emerboard (http://emer.coinchains.info/emerboard) At least you have to specify a channel to access the latest messages within this channel. Additionally, you can add a type and a subject. The subject is also capable of wildcards (*). For example: If you want to offer some potatoes. Name: "ads:sell:5 potatoes" Value: "I want to sell 5 potatoes for 5 EMC only. Please contact potatoes@eat.me" The EmerBoard will try to identify hyperlinks or email addresses to make them clickable. Additionally, it will look for pictures behind links to create an image link. Returns/New-lines within the value field are possilble too. Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: Valermos on August 07, 2015, 10:09:43 AM New wallet service released.
This service comes with a Proof-of-Stake pool with bi-monthly payouts (01 and 15). The earned stake will be calculated daily. You will also earn coins when other users use this service because a part of all fees will be send into the stake-pool. To secure your account, please activate EMCSSL in the settings menu. Please use with caution. (Beta) Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: Emerger on August 07, 2015, 12:36:38 PM I am excited by this. In addition to Proof-of-Stake wallet, you're also providing ability to register NVS entries? That's great.
Do incoming deposits show up? and how many confirmations are required? I sent some coins to https://emercoin.mintr.org/address/EVvSRL18rZvGBy1RmpRo47ZKhNMHRNqtrW That's my wallet address but none are showing in the wallet Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: Valermos on August 07, 2015, 12:57:03 PM I'm currently checking why your coins are not credited.
I can see the incoming transaction but no entry within the database. I'll fix this asap. -- Update -- Your coins are now transferred to your account. Min. confirmations are three. I'll have to check a script which is collecting these coins. After a server reboot it didn't come up automatically. I've started it manually and it's working now. --Update-- It's working fine now. I've created cronjob to check every minute for incoming transactions. Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: Valermos on August 28, 2015, 08:52:33 PM To use the minting chance feature, click on the leaf icon in the address detail page:
https://cloud.valermos.me/index.php/s/PUp6rx9JcfTAZIK/download The minting chance is based on the current PoS difficulty and shows your chance to mint within 24 hours. If you think the code might be wrong, please let me know. I've used parts of the JS code of this page: http://poscalculator.peercointalk.org/ (http://poscalculator.peercointalk.org/) to write my PHP sktipt. In PHP I'm calculating with 16 decimal places which might explane some slight differences to the original JS skript. Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: MessyCoin on September 10, 2015, 01:57:38 AM Have you thought about providing an interface in your online wallet to manage emcLNX (http://emercoin.com/EMCLNX) advertisements, both from ad Buyer & Hoster points of view? I think it would be a attractive/convenient option for maintainers of lightweight websites that can't justify running an EMC full node on their servers. You could provide an interface for updating advertisement text and links, language, keywords, etc, and provide stats of how many advertisements were displayed/clicked/etc.. to make money, you could add your own small commission on top of all referrals.
Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: Valermos on September 11, 2015, 08:13:46 AM Yes, that sounds very intresting.
I haven't found the time to evaluate emcLNX for me. But I'll do it later. ;) I'll let you know if/when I have made something like this. There was a bug in the coin collection script. This should be fixed now. Could you please check your balance again? This bug has affected a few other users too. Please check your balance if you have sent coins within the last three days to your wallet address. As you can see, balance after 1st transaction is not equal to transaction amount. Sum of all transactions is not matched to final balance too. screenshot: http://image.prntscr.com/image/e92900488fd94e1999a62f0fbfb6f6bf.png Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: Fixx on September 19, 2016, 09:39:39 AM Hello!

I'm using your online wallet. It's great and easy to use, but I can't find a way to back it up. How can I export private keys for my addresses ? Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: Valermos on October 02, 2016, 08:44:56 AM Hello. I'm using your online wallet. It's great and easy to use, but I can't find a way to back it up. How can I export private keys for my addresses ? Hi, Unfortunately, it is not possible to backup the private keys. Because this wallet uses a PoS pool, all keys are shared under each other. Therefore your public address balance might differ from what you see in the wallet and the blockchain explorer. Title: Re: Emercoin[EMC] Blockchain Explorer with Proof-of-Stake pool Post by: Emerger on February 19, 2017, 11:39:48 AM Would it be possible to indicate somewhere what % of last blocks were mined by the new emc version 0.6.0 (http://"https://github.com/Emercoin/emercoin/releases/tag/v0.6.0emc")? As I understand it needs 95% to be from the new version before Merge Mining will kick in. So it would be great if there was an indication of the progress that people can follow. It will work in the background, even when you are offline. I have to tell you that the online wallet provided at emercoin.mintr.org will be shut down once all funds are withdrawed.
