Title: I hope I can become a valued contributor! :)
Post by: Billbuscuss on February 16, 2015, 10:01:28 PM
Hi fellow...Bitcoiners?

My name is Billy & I am fairly new to the whole BTC ecosystem/community. That being said i wanna say a bit about myself and my intentions.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want (probably BTC), but I have a very particular lack of skills. I will never be able to help you in any way. What I do have is very few dollars worth of bitcoin & a lot of time on my hands. You can have neither of it.

Sorry but I figured a bit of "humour" (I know I know) would be a good way to start. Most of my bitcoin has been accumulated through faucets & a very small amount that I actually purchased. I hope soon I can become a valued member of the community & with the very small amount of money I've actually made by buying & selling bitcoin I will gladly share my "strategy" (ha!) with anyone who wants a guaranteed (for now) way to make a few bucks on their coin, provided you live in Canada of course. I'm sure buying & selling works the same on U.S exchanges (I mean it's just buy low sell high) so it's no secret.

I mostly want to share how I get the most money out of faucets and offers but I have yet to find a particular faucet, website or service that pays in amounts that aren't ridiculously low for ridiculously high input time. I do however make the most with my Xapo wallet due to the bonuses a lot of faucets and websites offer to sometimes as much as double your satoshi payout if you use Xapo.

Most of all I just want to be a part of this community as I have used it and learned so much from it without an account. I mostly earn bitcoin as a way to eventually "cash out" enough money to make my fiancé happy with a proper engagement ring that will be at least partially paid for from bitcoin profit.

Looking forward to meeting & getting to know some members of the forum. Have a nice day everybody. :)

Hi Billy, and welcome to our little place of heaven, where we have everything from those predicting future 15years ahead to random trolls insuring you that bitcoin was created by mi6 :]
If you want to increase your profits, you need to either activate yourself more by providing some services like translation,coding..etc or buying enough bitcoin allowing you to make some profits on bitcoin volatility.

I see you have your safe method, well, presuming bitcoin wont die out, you could buy large amount of bitcoins, and place sell orders on every 5% increase(comulative increase), and then put buy orders every 5% till 0. At that point just sit back and relax, because every move is making you profit :]

enough from me, cheers dude and enjoy your stay

Welcome to Bitcointalk forum Billbuscuss!

Stick around here for awhile, read up on various sub forums like Beginners & Help, Bitcoin Discussion, Economics, Mining, etc to get a feel of what the community is all about.

Be careful with any deals involving BTC here, and if you do transact here in the forums, make sure the user has positive trust, and a trusted escrow provider is involved.

Congrats on your pending nuptials, and if you stay here long enough, you should level up to Member or Full Member soon, and be able to participate in a Signature Campaign that'll pay you way more than any faucet in existence.

Good luck!

Hello and welcome to BTT. Everyone can be a valued contributor as long as they help the community and not be a problem to others. Bitcoin is a trending topic to fairly new investors and average Joes but let's face it: bitcoin isn't a permanent thing you can hold on to and cling for your future. It is true that bitcoin shaped and innovate the future, but there are no guarantees that it will hold value forever, so just to be sure, NEVER EVER put your life savings to bitcoin.

Good luck and have fun. ^_^

Welcome fellow bitcoin peer! We love people who want to help.

Congradulations on the enguagement. But no need to "cash out". You have the best cash when you have bitcoin and you could just buy a ring with that. Look:

And there are more if you google it.

Hello Billy...

I acctually never think about all the people who browse these forums and seldom join. What kept you from joining and asking questions here?

I think there are lot of people, who started out as you did. The faucet route is one way, but it will take you a long time if you only cash in on the payouts... rather try to build a referral network and let them generate a passive income for you. {There are always NEW people coming in, and starting out with faucets, so the best way would be to guide them to the higest paying and legit faucets out there}

The trading {Buy low and Sell high} option will only work in a very volitile time frame, but as time go by BTC will become less volitile and I would predicts a constant climb as with other technologies out there.

You might have to start investigating ways to invest in early startups with lots of potential. {This is a bit more complex and also a gamble, but better as a long term investment}

The other option, would be to constantly buy BTC in small quantities like I do, and to hoard them until the price is right to sell. {We all hope that time will come one day, so we take the chance given to us now}

Good luck on your journey and hope you find the perfect ring for your fiancé.  ;) ----> Until then, you might find something nice for her here :

in amounts that aren't ridiculously low for ridiculously high input time.

Welcome to this forum, great place to learn...
And our world is too serious, there is never too much of a humor! :-)

Do you play poker? If you do, it is a fun way to make some mili bitcoins.
You can play free rolls to get some starting coin and later you can try to increase it by playing sit-ups etc or to entering paid tournaments. Faucets are chore, boring tasks, something you need to spend a lot of time just to get some small coins. If you already play poker and enjoy playing it, then just focus on play, just try to enjoy playing and forget on coins. But they will slowly starting to collect into your wallet... just a thought

This one for example:

https://bitcasino.io/casino/table-games/Poker

Pays out so many positions that you will often get paid without playing one single hand. No joke. Example from tournament (free roll) playing right now, Omaha, 51 players registered, paid first 36, more than half. And more than half players don't even show up, actually usually less than  one third.  So you register, leave browser open, you never show up and if you are among those 36 (happens) you get some change :-)
