Title: [SOLVED] Let's say you buy a broken gun...(need advice) Post by: Distribution on May 24, 2011, 03:00:22 AM So I bought a NAA Mini Revolver from a guy today ($180 with black holster grip and pink holster grip), and when I was coming home, I noticed the front sight was missing. Not just like filed down, but there is a recess, a cavity where the sight should be. He seems like a nice guy and I don't think he did it intentionally, but I don't know if I would have paid that price knowing the sight was missing (he actually turned down a gun for trade because it didn't have original grips). So what would you do? Ask for some of the money back? Try to get the sight replaced?
Here's a picture of what I'm talking about: http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/249104_565952420025_37401778_31826111_5238622_n.jpg Title: Re: Let's say you buy a broken gun...(need advice) Post by: Basiley on May 24, 2011, 03:51:14 AM hardly its [SO]matter on distances of using.
better spend repair money on practicing/ammo/shooting gallery/gun familiarization=bigger impact, IMO. Title: Re: [SOLVED] Let's say you buy a broken gun...(need advice) Post by: Distribution on May 24, 2011, 03:38:12 PM I contacted NAA, and they said they would replace the sight, refinish the gun and ship it to a dealer for 9 dollars. They were extremely nice about it. If you don't have an NAA, go get one. Now. Then tell your dealer that you're not waiting three days. If you're wondering which one you should get, I've already decided for you: The Earl (http://www.northamericanarms.com/earl.html).
