Title: Seeking a partner for a bitcoin project
Post by: NewBeginnings on February 19, 2015, 04:03:28 PM
Hi Bitcoin community,

I am working on a Bitcoin-related project, a website/service, and I am seeking a partner.

A partner should have some experience with Linux on the server and desktop, some PHP, and web design skills (HTML/CSS, Photoshop). Your tasks will mainly involve some frontend stuff along with PR and support.

This will be a partnership so we will split the profits 50/50. I will invest the necessary funds to get us up and going initially.

At this stage I'd like to stay quiet on what exactly the website does, however rest assured that it isn't anything illegal or immoral and I will go into more details later on.

If you are interested, please send me a PM with the answers to these question along with your PGP public key. You will need a PGP key otherwise I cannot move forward.

1) What are your skills?
2) What is your approximate age and location/timezone?
3) How many hours can you dedicate to work on the project?
4) Do you go to school or have a job?
5) Are you comfortable with working with sensitive information?

NewBeginnings, it may be hard to get a good dev to commit or even respond to you with so little.

and in the mean time

1) What are your skills?
2) What is your approximate age and location/timezone?
3) How many hours can you dedicate to work on the project?
4) Do you go to school or have a job?

and

"5) Are you comfortable with working with sensitive information?"

What does this mean and what do you hope to ascertain by the answer? Is this question asking "Can you be trusted not to disclose company information to 3rd parties?" Do you really think anyone is going to answer and say "Hi, id like to join your project, i cant be trusted and am most likely going to be selling your information and that of your clients, to whomever offers me money. On a positive note I am very motivated"

What does it matter if he is a newbie or not, just because he never talked or maybe even knew about this forum doesnt make him a scammer or not

"  I will invest the necessary funds to get us up and going initially.  " you're obviously not gonna have to put any money on the table.
