Title: Where does one reports a Scam or a scam waiting to happen? Post by: twister on February 20, 2015, 05:27:37 AM Anytime I see someone trying to scam I report it with the report button but it results in only my accuracy getting dropped, the posts don't get removed because I think there's a rule that "Moderators do not remove likely scams" and and then I get logged out right after I report one. :(
So should I just overlook and don't pay attention to likely scams (it would be hard for me to do that) or just make red warning post in the thread or.. What should I do? Post a warning over there. Title: Re: Where does one reports a Scam or a scam waiting to happen? Post by: hilariousandco on February 20, 2015, 05:36:08 AM You will get a bad report for scams. You can leave appropriate feedback and post in their thread giving a warning and also open up a scam accusation. Not sure why you would be getting logged out though.

What should I do? If you strongly believe someone runs a scam attempt you could give him/her a -ve trust feedback to warn others. Also post your proofs in Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) board. |
