It has its currency niche but I think it has more of a chance at becoming some kind of esoteric store of value. Add in another year or so's worth of exposure and VC starting to put serious money into the ecosystem, (75 Million -> Coinbase January 2015) and the always-potential-prospect of another bubble means that Bitcoin Fever is never gone - it just goes into remission temporarily. I also like physical gold and silver plus planning to invest in some litecoin and darkcoin at some point.
