Title: Ready to unload my massive trove of 22 BTC!
Post by: bitcoinminer on July 29, 2012, 03:07:07 AM
Here's things I'd be interested in trading for:

US Dollars (no, I don't want to try your stupid exchange site.)
Used prosthetic limbs
HAM Radio equipment

That's about it.  I see they're going for $8.88 right now on MtGoXXXed.  I'll sell 22.37 that I have for $175.  WOW! SUCH A DEAL! $20 off retail price for fictitious money!

In all seriousness though, I want to unload them and I'm too lazy to try and unlock my MtGoXXXed account, and TradeHill which I used to use seems to have disappeared.  I'd accept PayPal if you were willing to wait 30 days to receive your bitcoins.

I was just trying to think of something bizarre to throw in there... I got the idea from Hardcore Pawn.

Yeah a shrunken head would be wicked!

I also have two Radeon 5870's for sale.  I mined with them for a month or two about a year ago.

What's the preferred method - ebay?

If you are going to make someone wait for paypal....  30 days is NOT enough.  I have been charged back ONLY AFTER 30 days.

If you're trying to be bizzare, I'm in Bangkok and could maybe get you some used ping pong balls for about 22 BTC...

I'm too lazy to try and unlock my MtGoXXXed account,

Do you mean the account is locked and even the BTCs cannot be withdrawn, or do you just mean that you cannot convert to fiat and withdraw that way without verifying your account first?

Incidentally, bitcoinminer.com and @BitcoinMiner twitter feed are unrelated to this forum user which is of the same name.

My Mt GoXXXed account have no BTC in them.  I am referring to converting to fiat.

Correct on the second and third point.  BitcoinMiner was the first name I tried when I joined here, and had no idea about the .com site.

BTC are sold, pending payment arriving.

Still have TWO 5870s which I will be posting in the for sale forum.

I will repost of the deal for the 22BTC falls thru.

I would be interested in the 5870's, what do you want for them?

I've had a ton of problems with fraudulent chargebacks - now I'm happy to be giving BTC a shot.

If you want to sell BTC with Paypal, I would recommend putting the BTC in a wallet, burning the wallet.dat file to a CD, and mailing it. That way if they chargeback, you have tracking. (Be sure to get a signature). That will at least give you a fighting chance, but paypal can be a pain.
