Amusing and unsurprising.

Now that Litecoin is safe, let's go back to insulting other blockchains?

He's no more 'begging' than every kickstarter project out there. Crowdfunding is not new.

Crowdfunding an open-source project seems sensible. Coding is time-consuming.

Disclosure: I put a few (more than 1, less than 10) BTC in there.

Litecoin grows in the shadow of its elder brother aka Bitcoin. When GPU mining of Bitcoin becomes unprofitable, a lot of GPUs will be targeted to Litecoin, so we could face even 99% attack.

Realsolid is an egotistic, self absorbed, asshole.

You may not have seen that part of him. Many of us here have and dislike him because of it. Calling a spade a spade isn't insulting. Just like saying he is begging for btc isnt all that far from the truth.

People are giving BTC to Coinhunter?

This forum has to be the richest farming ground for con-artists in the history of the planet. Never a shortage of people who blindly trust.  ???

Hi Luceo,

I see from your registration date that you are new around here, and my initial post was very short, so let me explain why it's so funny.

RealSolid (aka CoinHunter and countless other fake personas) is a guy who has led a campain against Bitcoin for quite some time now. SolidCoin/MicroCash is supposed to be the worlds greatest cryptocurrency. Read http://solidcoin.info/solidcoin-ready-for-bitcoin-collapse.php for just one example of his rhetoric. MicroCash is just SolidCoin version 3, since version 1 and 2 failed spectactularly, he had to rename it to try to avoid the negativity from all the failed SolidCoin versions.

If he had asked for SolidCoins as donations I wouldn't make fun of him. So for him to beg for Bitcoins of all things, when he's so anti-Bitcoin, is quite ironic.

Now that is a real waste of bitcoins  ::)

It probably is but what amazes me a bit is how tight the MC community is (unless all those "let me send you some BTC" are Solidcoin alter egos)

LTC is not safe. For example, there are lots of weirdos in BTC community who hate LTC so badly, that they cry themselves to sleep, while whispering: "I hate litecoin, I hate it, I hate it, I HATE Litecoin, mommy....I hate litecoin" and so on. Lets hope there is only one Bcx how is hopefully locked up by now.

Keep mining LTC and invent services for LTC. This is the only way to make it strong and last for a long time.

Could you name the pathological LTC haters? I know Luke doesn't like it, but the only thing Luke does like is Catholic Priests.
I haven't heard anyone else active in BTC development hate on LTC.

I'm new to the forum, not to the cryptocurrency scene. I'm aware that there's been animosity between Solidcoin supporters and Bitcoin supporters with shit-slinging from both sides, and I don't want to get into that. There are good and bad points about Solidcoin, but it's worth mentioning that even through these lows, Solidcoin community has stuck together and already thrown >50 BTC ($450) in that pot.

I do wonder why he isn't accepting Solidcoin donations. There is always the argument that he doesn't want to crash the Solidcoin price even further, which would be the only legitimate way to get rid of ~$2200 of volume.
