I'm sure many of this believe this is overdue considering what happened with Mintpal. http://coinfire.io/2015/02/23/ryan-kennedy-of-moolah-arrested/

But how can it be proved that he stole the bitcoins and that it was not because of a hack?

Wow that is great news. He was huge on reddit dogecoin community. People followed him around like a cult. Always had a bad feeling about him.

Indeed, never tracked him myself but it's been a while since someone had a cult around them
Back to Trendon if I recall correctly although there might have been other people who were trusted that went and scammed i missed.
(Although MP is the only one that still has a nice cult but scam free ha-ha)

Anyways look forward to the court case updates let justice be served.

I had to verify with other news sources to confirm that it is true. And yeah, a lot of people would finally have to chance to be able to get the answers they are waiting for. I think hardest hit would be the dogecoin community.

After reading conflicting reports I'm not sure he has been arrested. This website claims it's not true he's been arrested and does a good job of digging into how the story is a misinterpretation of a SYScoin statement.

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/calm-media-alex-green-not-jail/

This blog claims news of his arrest comes via a statement from SYScoin, but claims it's true.

Omg. I cant believe I contacted this guy when Moolah was released to be a potential investor. Glad I missed the opportunity and did nothing. I feel less and less motivated to search for investing opportunities in Bitcoin related businesses.

That is indeed a very good news. Sadly it is only one case, among many exchanges that were either hacked or robbed by their owners, e.g., coinex.pw.

He sold many shares of "moolah pie" for ridiculous amounts of BTC.

Just as you feel less motivated to invest in Bitcoin businesses, others who have been scammed feel the same way. These Bitcoin scammers are a plague on this community.

I haven't seen any.

Generally you can call the jail they are booked at and hear their charges ect (at least in America.)

I would just assume this is a lie.

Well, the person and the sites who are giving out the news, don;t publish evrythng, without confirming it before.

These two websites contradict each other. One says he has not been arrested, the other says he has. They can't both be right about it. The website claiming the story is false says everything is based on a Syscoin statement that got misinterpreted. Later this week we should find out which website got it right.

This website says it's false.

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/calm-media-alex-green-not-jail/

This website claims claims it's true.

Oh man there were a lot of Moolah fanatics around here spamming post with about it, glad to hear this scumbag got caught. Hopefully not many lost out.
I remember talking to a lot of guys that invested 3+ BTC.. hope they at least recovered their investment with the monthly payments.
