Title: Threads Prefixes ? Post by: Madness on February 24, 2015, 04:34:27 PM Pretty simple , not sure if devs are planning to add it or not .
Some simple prefixes before the thread name could be useful . [WTS] [WTB] [WTT] [Release] [OpenSource] [Announcement] etc ... I guess it would be very useful . Each one should be available on the right section tho . the 3 first that I mentioned should be logically available on the Marketplace sections ~ Madness Title: Re: Threads Prefixes ? Post by: NeuroticFish on February 24, 2015, 04:38:03 PM I would also like to see when a coin was launched in its [ANN] prefix.
There are so many altcoin announcements, some of them just pop out of nowhere after months of low/no activity... Title: Re: Threads Prefixes ? For the problem of bumping old posts , I guess a simple message (red which everyone can see it) which says that this thread is inactive for 30 days or more should be added so people don't simply bump without be aware of anything ~ Madness Title: Re: Threads Prefixes ? While adding a "red flag" to the topics untouched for too long, the case of coins may be different: for example take over, or a coin with very few followers just got new features done. This means that despite the red flag, the topic will get new posts. If there would be 50-100 altcoins, the current state would be OK. But with so many, I think that it's not only me who is losing track (unless you've set altcoins are to ignore).. Title: Re: Threads Prefixes ? Post by: HeroC on February 24, 2015, 09:45:09 PM Similar to thread flags and tags, I like it. Perhaps we can add filters, making it so some users don't see threads tagged with a tag they don't like, or tag posts older than three months, and tag official staff announcements.

Perhaps we can add filters, making it so some users don't see threads tagged with a tag they don't like, or tag posts older than three months, and tag official staff announcements. I like sorting and hiding threads with specific tags, for example hiding threads with tag '[NSFW]'. If this is being implemented, just need a confirmation from theymos or a dev, then I can compile a list of tags whichever I know and can found in internet. This would decrease dev's work. Flagging threads with '[INACTIVE]' automatically would be good too although there is a warning when replying to threads older than 5 months, IIRC. -MZ Title: Re: Threads Prefixes ? Post by: taesup on February 25, 2015, 11:32:14 PM We have a feature planned that's closely related to this, although we'll be calling it tags. Basically the thread starter, moderator, admin, etc can "tag" a thread with a defined list of tags. We hope that by the time the forum is complete, you'll be able to sort and filter by those tags too.

Oh awesome news , just make sure to add [WTS] [WTB] [WTT] at least on the Marketplace section please :) thanks for your efforts and good luck on developement . ~ Madness Title: Re: Threads Prefixes ?
