Title: Dogecoind Linux - Corrupted block database detected.
Post by: CryptoMrM on February 25, 2015, 03:55:29 AM
Hiya BitcoinTalk Users,

I am relatively new to using any wallet on a server so I would appreciate any help you can give me.

I run the command: "dogecoind -daemon" on my VPS and I get the response:

"Corrupted block database detected.

Do you want to rebuild the block database now?"

So I type "Yes" and I just get an infinite loop of "y"'s. Anyone have any idea what I have to type/do to get it to re-sync/work?

I have a feeling that it is spamming y's because theres nothing to execute.
It might be because there is not enough space on the HD (currently 10GB) not sure how big dogecoin blockchain is?

Would appreciate any support and may even give a bounty!

Thanks!

I managed to fix the problem by using the command "dogecoind -rescan" for anyone in the future who has this problem.
