Title: buying ddr3 and am3 compatible athlon cpu Post by: eof on May 24, 2011, 06:19:39 PM I bought a bunch of crap for a mining rig and the thing won't boot. I am hoping the motherboard is fine, I have tested w/ 3 graphics cards.

Well, no way I'd take a loss on a pretty much new item anyways. I'd just as soon take it back to where I bought it and get my full $36+tax back. (bought it last weekend). I have never had bad shipping from amazon; and a cpu comes packed in foam anyway; very unlikely to take any type of damage from even really shitty packaging.
