I signed up with several, but either didn't want to use their online wallet, or I had to physically mail a payment to them, so it took me a few exchanges before I found one I liked. I settled with using BitQuick and the transaction was smooth, simple, and quick!

That's great! And don't forget to resupply back the coin to cover the amount that you spent so that there is a net positive effect. In general, if everyone is doing the same it would help to create demand for bitcoin and help to lift up the price. Makes sense to instant convert and buy whatever you need with BTC.

They do, but their benefit is that they don't have to deal with ridiculous fees. They don't have to worry about chargebacks and other stuff that is only a pain in the ass. I'm sure there will be a point that merchants will at least keep 25% of the coins they receive from sales. Normally you would like to sell your bitcoin to buy power supply on amazon or something. It is unexpected that this happened in reverse.
