Title: bounty for video refutation of Fed video Post by: AaronM on May 24, 2011, 08:02:03 PM I'm pledging 5 BTC to the best refutation of this video (when it comes out).
http://stlouisfed.org/education_resources/videocontest.cfm (http://stlouisfed.org/education_resources/videocontest.cfm) "The St. Louis Fed is sponsoring a YouTube video contest. We want your original video that explains the concept of central bank independence. What does independence mean for a nation's central bank? Let us know through your video creation! (See the links below for additional information on this topic.)" Would anyone else be interested? Title: Re: bounty for video refutation of Fed video Post by: evoorhees on May 24, 2011, 08:07:31 PM You want a refutation in the form of a video or short essay or what?
I love the built-in rhetoric of the Fed's contest. It's not a video to argue why central banks are important (because we all know society can't exist without them!), but rather why "independence" of the central bank is important. If you need a written refutation, I'll happily provide one for 5 btc Title: Re: bounty for video refutation of Fed video Post by: AaronM on May 24, 2011, 08:09:41 PM Sorry, I actually meant a video refutation using Youtube's "Video Reply" option. I think that would get the largest audience.

Weeee! They wont even print 90% of that loaned money, just digitally transfer it around. Much cheaper that way. Video gave me heartburn :-\ Independence with a private bank ::) |
