Title: Selling my signature space
Post by: Quickseller on March 03, 2015, 08:09:49 PM
I have decided that I wish to finally sell my signature space for something other then my sales thread.

I am currently a Senior member which allows for unlimited length signatures, as well as both the use of size and the use of color (and the use of links).

I am very active in the marketplace sections and I would like to think of myself as someone who is generally respected.

I would like to get an above market rate for posting, which is roughly .0013 per post. I made roughly 800 posts last month.

I would like to get paid either in advance or payment to escrow in advance. I would like to be guaranteed to be guaranteed to receive payment for at least 300 posts per month (or 75 per week), although if I do not make that many I will issue a refund for the number of posts that I do not make. If I make more then 300 then I will not demand payment for the additional posts although if I do not receive payment for the extra post then I will likely sell my signature space to someone else for a better price.

Although I do not have any immediate plans to start an escrow thread, I do wish to reserve the right to insert a link to an escrow thread if desired. I will advertise my escrow thread in my personal text

I do not wish to receive payment to a website or an account although I am willing to listen to offers that receive payment to such

You'd like to get more than 0.001? Just join a campaign?

if I don't get any offers from anyone within a week or so then I will probably join them provided they allow me to advertise one thread of my own

Rules are rules and have to be followed (don't shoot the messenger please :P).

I will see what I can work out.

Bit-X is probably the best campaign ever! Not only does the bot give you a 100% accurate preview of your pay for the week, but also pays automatically. Simply amazing, and I'd recommend it to everybody and anybody. Although they don't pay right upfront, it's still a great choice to consider! Been posting and it's easy to check how many you've made, etc.

Just my two cents on the subject.

I will disagree with you. While it is true that they are currently paying the most per post. But some other things are not so great, mainly I do not want to use my phone for verification and I imagine a lot of people too. And you have to create account on their site with their address to be paid that way. For some people is a huge no no.

For the paranoids among us, it is a huge no no :(.

Nothing to fear by giving out a phone number.

I think it would be wise to give people a choice. Do they want to use their mobile number for authentication? Or maybe they prefer email? It is the ideal way for me. Making people do something is just... wrong in my opinion.

I see that me and Quickseller are on the same boat here. And I just remembered something about "paranoia". They said the same thing about PRISM, how people are paranoic and it does not exist. Rest is known to all.

I think the solution here would to have a friend whom you trust, sign up for Bit-X. He can pay you upfront, and then receive the payments for himself? There's nothing better I can think of at the moment.

Quickseller let me know if anyone takes you up on your offer to sell your space individually.  I see these offers from time to time and I'm never sure if anyone ever goes for them or not.

I do not think that he will be able to find anyone able to pay him for his signature space. My advice is: best option is to join Da Dice campaign. They have simple rules and escrowed funds.

I'd go ahead and go with the DaDice campaign if you are paranoid about your phone number, otherwise Bit_X is perfect. I can understand not wanting to give out phone numbers, for the sake of privacy. It honestly is pretty nice with the automatic payout and tracker website. One of the best run signature campaigns without a doubt.

Fair enough, however I have my requirements too. I am not saying your rules are bad, I am just saying that your rules are not something I would want to follow, and I feel that my signature space is valuable enough that someone would be willing to buy it, not asking me to follow those rules
I will see what I can work out.
Like I said, I am confident that my posts are looked at enough so that people read what I say closely enough so that my signature space is more valuable then the "average" user.

I would kindly ask that unless you are trying to directly do business with me (or acting as an agent to someone bring to do business with me) to please refrain from posting on here. I am very well aware of the current market for paid signature campaigns. There is a lot of signature spam on this thread and it is making it somewhat cluttered.

Why give him such perks?
I mean, it's not my call but what makes him better than me to get payment to his own address and such?

Anyway, OP, please don't think you are different from anyone else when joining a sig-campaign. Don't like the pay? Go find you hail somewhere else :P

IMO people tend to read what I write closely. I have a reputation for putting in a lot of effort into what I write and into my actions. I have one thread with over 12,000 views and another with over 8,000 views which only backup my above statement.

Seems like in the end you went with dadice along the same rules as everyone else.  Also, given that you won their "constructive award" seems like it's working out well for you.  I'm bumping your auction because it'll be interesting to see if you get any offers now that you have some income that you'd have to walk away from in order to change.

Bumping this thread. My current signature contract expires in ~2 days, at which point I will be willing to take additional offers regarding renting my signature.

Will they not be updating your contact then no? Be silly to let you go in my opinion, why not go back to Dadice they are the best paying with LP and the bonus you will achieve each week as you know. The 100 post restriction is not great for posters like yourself but the bonuses add up to it not really mattering?

I will more likely then not receive an offer from my current signature campaign for me to remain with them, however I wish to maximize my earnings potential and listen to bids from as high of a number of people as possible.

Do you have a FLAT RATE in mind per week / per month ?

I made 1.2 BTC last month after making 800 posts. That should be a general starting point when making any potential offers, although I would potentially consider/accept less amounts if a significant less posting requirement is provided.

Wow! That's some pretty good BTC earnings, I didn't know they were that profitable. Thanks for the info!
