It's easy to check that sgminer github is still at version 5.1, last update made at January 13th.. While this "SGMiner V5.2" might not be malware, it's very suspicious that someone has decided to name it "5.2".. That gives the impression that it is the next version of "official" sgminer, but obviously it is not. I would never install mining software without checking the source first.. It is so easy to plant bad code. Virus checkers will not find anything "malware" there, if the malicious code is already in the source.
