If the price isn't low enough... I really don't know what "low" is anymore. The price was $1100+ and now it's >$300. How much more of a drop do you want before you buy in again? I don't know about all of you but I am definitely buying in, it's a great time to.

A good time to buy would have been a few weeks ago, now you may as well wait until the drop which will most likely come within the week. Or do you believe it is going to go up and up and not come bak down because if you do then now would be a good time although i would not advise  :D

I see it rising up. I would call a good time to buy right about now. It's on a slight steady increase. We're recovering from the crash that happened a bit ago so buy!

Agreed, its bound for a correction, its just a matter of hour, if im not mistaken.
I'm selling also in hopes for a rebuy ~240, even tho i believe we will go to 300 and beyond soon enough, but gambler is gambler , and i want those extra precentages to drag in even bigger profits.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is, and wont last for long. Let's see who's gonna get burned.

If you have the capital, why not buy now? But it should been good to buy btc 2 weeks ago. Price is a bit steady trending upward. If this continues we might see $300 range by next week.

Wait for a drop. There are going to be some good corrections, its still too early to go on a big rally.

Sure, correction is due sooner or later. No rally is sustainable over long period of time and that may be good buying opportunity (-ies).

I personaly dont have much capital that i can use to invest on a guess, but if i had, i would buy all that i can and wouldnt even look at the price for few years.
The point of the game is to increase that btc budget we have by a few folds until its enough to sit on it and wait, but its risky every time u make a trade, and ure bound to make a mistake sooner or later.
I learned on my mistakes that i allways make mistakes being too optimistic, so this time ill rather risk having to buy back in higher , than to bet that this is going further without correction (by buyback position)

Buy rather small quantities in one batch and try to follow the market for a while.
A downside correction may happen in the next days, or may not happen for quite a while. Small buys should rule out both cases.

Logically BTC should rise in the next 1-2 months. After that, I don't know.

It's a good time to get some BTC, if you haven't had any so far. The risk the price falls much lower is low in comparison to the possible room to the upside. Still don't buy everything in one chunk. Get in, in smaller pieces, averaging the price and making sure that even if we have a one or two day pullback you will still have some more dry powder to add to your position. Long-term however, it is a great buy chance now.

sure, averaging the entry price is a very reasonable strategy, provided you are right about the trend.
Otherwise (if this is a false brake out), you run the risk of catching the falling knife, and may empty your pockets before the low is in (I think this is not the case, as the low is already in).

There is risk there, but dollar cost averaging will likely reduce overall risk.  It will also limit your potential maximum gain, but it's all about finding the optimum balance that leaves you the least emotionally invested.

Anyway it will mainly limit the maximum gain for those looking to trade.
If OP is a hodler it will be definitely a good option in the long run :)

i usually buy $50 worth of BTC but bought over $100 already this month.
i will probably keep buying every month till i have a decent amount.
so for me it's a great time to buy. i'm saving everything till i see something nice to buy.

Op if already have you have your budget established and money ready to buy then do not hesitate to do so. Every time is good. It is not like bitcoin is now worth $1000 but it could be if you wait...

as for your comment on limiting gains, I think it is better not to chase the bottom (unless you are an experienced trader) and gain slightly less, rather than to risk missing the best part of the move. But that is, as you correctly stated, individual risk management issue.

In a few more days will e a great time to buy anywhere between 220 - 230 should be ok i personally cannot see it going any lower than that but obviously i can be wrong but i am not advising something i am not doing myself  ;)

I think we are on an uptrend up to 300 territory before we see a correcion again towards mid lower 200's through this month.

IF we're still going to see 220-230 levels it's likely after hitting strong resistance levels in the 300s (300/315/350) imo.

BTW if you're intending to hodl longterm it's definately a good buy when we're still under $300.

In 2014 everyone was crying they couldn't buy under $300 anymore.

where are you looking at this?  i dont see diff shooting up last 48.  only predicting a lower increase than before.

in any case, it's always a good time to buy but we shot up a bit quick.. if you're thinking short term, expect a return to around $250 in the coming weeks before getting past this pace. 

Now it would be a good time to buy. A dump just happened and the price should slowly get back to normal trend.

I wouldn't call it a dump, just a normal correction of the recent gains. From now on we can see whether the trend reversal is the reality already, or we are in for more sideways movements.

In the past 2(?) months the price was like the waves. It feels like summer  :D
Some call it pumps and dumps, some call it corrections. Usually the truth is somewhere in between.
The trend should be a slow rise. But yeah, if I'd have a crystal ball, I'd drink cocktails on a sunny beach, not reading/writing about Bitcoin.

Always buy with due diligence. And also, buy what you can afford to lose. Well if you want you can buy small amounts to average the price. But never buy in at small pumps because it might destroy you in the end.

Hoping for it to drop, even at least in the $250 for me to snatch up some btc before the price rises.

I think it's too risky right now to buy, we are potentially right at the top of another trap. Buy in a few weeks time when the price has settled. only my 2 cents

At a simplistic level, btc has ranged between 0 and 1,100, so 270 doesnt seem too bad.
But it has only been above 270 since Nov 2013, so its not a fantastic price.
As a speculative bubble based gamble, I would say only enter at a really good price, like in double figures (below 100)
Then you have a decent upside, given past performance.

Imo don't overdo too much buying and selling. Take a position and wait for a month. It requires too much luck  to make gains in these small corrections.

Definitely. Overdoing such things often result to smaller gains or worse, a loss. Take a stand, wait for whatever will happen, then execute your plans.

Its definitely a good time to buy while the current news about the auctioned coins is hot. Most people are expecting a price up for the incoming days.

I am doing just like that. I've been pretty much buying small amounts from different prices to average all my buying then I'm here tackling about the different topics and issues about bitcoin. But man, it's hard to just sit there and wait. If you have money put on things with high volatility, you'll be as nervous as I am, especially if you are not knowledgeable enough to read graphs and determine trends. :(

I think its a great time to buy seeing the great deal of positive news stacking lately. Even if you lose a bit by buying at 300's due a small correction, we are headed towards a new 300+ era no doubt.

If you would ask me, the $230 opportunity is a great miss. During those times, FUDs and "bitcoin is dead" threads are almost in every board. Good thing I bought some coins back then, and right now, I'm up to my holdings.

Man, if I haven't loaded up on coins till now, I'd be buying the dips, man. People keep saying to "buy the damn dip, man!" on the forum these days.

I believe in the next couple of years BTC will be worth several thousand each. But really there's no way to know and it's all speculation so you sort of have to do your own research and make your judgement then.

TA Indicators and the current mid-term momentum are all still bullish an point up. That being said, if you want to play it rather safe, it might be the safest thing to invest after we break through $350 approximately.
