Do you know any crypto app store made for bitcoin enthusiasts.If no? Then how about creating one

You mean something like Google Play ? There isn't but it could be very useful indeed , I like your idea mate .
So instead of screwing around and searching on iTunes and Google play we could simply go to this "Crypto" app store . Do you have the needed skills to make such a thing ? if not just make a Crowfunding thread (held by escrow) . Pretty sure that a lot of people may get interetested on such projects .

okay! first i have to contact a programmer for its budget then surely will put a crowd funding ad there!

Make sure to contact someone that use Bitcoin so you don't have any issues at the end . (don't use freelancer , oDesk etc .. unless developper agree to use Bitcoin as payment method)

This is a very good idea a crypto app store, many will dig this store, hopefully there will be one soon and hell will break loose :)

Not really mate , there is big Programmers as I said on oDesk , Freelancer & eLance who are more then able to do the job but they don't accept Bitcoin because they have a Milestone system that accepts only Credit Cards , Skrill & Paypal .
Your only hope now is to post here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 and say all what you the programmer needs to know about the project (including the budget) . and wait for someone to contact you . Pretty sure there is talented developpers around here

I know a guy who can do app creation for both google and appstore.
Maybe I should get him on this and see if he is interested :P

"Crypto App Store" for me is a Website like AppStore or Google Play but it's just for Cryptoo Currencies apps instead of all apps .

that's would be great idea, but you need someone who pro about programing. Apps with bitcoin as payment :) ( this is in my mind :D )

An app that takes payment in bitcoin for in-app purchases or to buy other apps wouldn't be approved on either Play Store or Appstore.

That can be a deal breaker for iOS as only rooted phones could install it.
However it could still be easily installed on any Android device by downloading the APK directly from a website.

I have experience developing Android apps and including crypto payments. I may develop something like this. Let me know what exact features you have in mind.

I think the best would be a combination of both, something like Amazon store.

A website which lists the apps and that allows direct APK download (http://www.amazon.com/mobile-apps/b?node=2350149011)
plus a native app that offers easy-to-access downloads, notifications, app of the day (http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get-appstore/android/ref=mas_rw_ldg)

Anyway I can't think of a way to support iOS devices without jail break, either with the website or the app.
It's such a closed system!

No, it's not possible. People can download apps only from Appstore.

If the device is jail broken then it's possible but that would work only for a small % of users who did that.

With Android, on the other hand, there's a check which says "allow installs from external sources?" and that's it, straightforward.
And if it's not checked then a clear message appears with instructions on how to enable it.

but first we have to find the whether they will put their apps there or not!

I could not find one when I looked, but I think it's an awesome idea. I would definitely use it. Such an app store would have to allow payments in BTC. That may cut out iso, but why anyone would use a locked phone is beyond me anyway.

I first read it thinking a hub of crypto apps tgat are ONLY AVAILABLE on the Crypto appstore, however the idea of a directory that links you to the app store is cool. Maybe even a chrome extension directory would be cool

Did not found any. Even it is a great idea. As here is most of good bitcoin dev's and donators, I think that it can be made from this forum. We need one topic to start it, a good team to make it and some donators to pay for dev's work.
After that's been done, I think that Google will have an eye on it and it may cause BTC acceptance and usage on Google products which would be a great move.

It would be much better for this crypto store to actually host the apps, not just link to the official store.
This way it could support apps that accept payments in bitcoin (which isn't approved by Google or Apple).

I think thats what op said, he want to make crypto apps store like playstore/apple that accept bitcoin :)
it's not only "link to official" but host of all apps :)

Another problem is with paid apps! If user download paid app one time by paying some BTC.Then theu can copy the app and distribute it so it will cheat the system.
So now i have decided that android app+website will be good option.
