CEO and Founder - Jad Mubaslat

COO - Chad Davis

We are indeed still around and continuing to grow (we've done 24 BTC in volume so far today)! Currently we are part of Boost VC's Tribe 5 of Bitcoin startups.

Feel free to shoot me some feedback anytime at chad@bitquick.co.

I am interested.

You go through wells fargo right ?

How & where would  I upload the picture ?

When entering amount to purchase, it says to 'match the requested format'.

I put a 1 in amount to purchase but it says 'match the requested format' after I hit place hold now.

The order is Wells Fargo, yes. We are a marketplace similar to LocalBitcoins, but we arbitrate transactions to make sure that no fraud occurs. The amount must be more than that order's minimum sell amount (I believe the minimum sell amount for this order is 0.3 BTC).

Here is the link to the order again, 3.72 BTC are still for sale: https://www.bitquick.co/orderinfo.php?orderid=76637239 (https://www.bitquick.co/orderinfo.php?orderid=76637239)

Is this safe?

Absolutely. We are a trusted company that is currently based out of San Mateo, California for Boost VC's Tribe 5 of Bitcoin startups (https://www.boost.vc/) (the first Tribe that is all Bitcoin).

All user funds are secured and handled using multi-signature addresses through BitGo (https://www.bitquick.co/bitquick-becomes-first-major-bitcoin-trading-marketplace-to-implement-p2sh-multi-signature-escrow-addresses.php), which also insures our holdings for up to $250,000 of losses. (http://cointelegraph.com/news/113556/bitgo-secures-first-ever-comprehensive-bitcoin-theft-insurance-for-up-to-250000) Using BitGo, we publish proof of our reserves (https://www.bitquick.co/buy-2.php#tab-1380705660-2-97) as well so that you can know that we are fully solvent and not running a fractional exchange.

You can also check us out on Bittrust.org (http://bittrust.org/bitquickco), a site that allows you to rate and review Bitcoin services.

There's 62 BTC for sale on our service at the moment: https://www.bitquick.co/buy-2.php (https://www.bitquick.co/buy-2.php)

We do have an international subsidiary that is run by somebody else (BitQuic.tw, our Taiwanese platform).

When referring to the 24 BTC, I meant that we had done that much in volume so far that day. Overall we've currently had over 8,000 BTC purchased by buyers on our site.

I have a question on your service. Will the coins be released immediately to the buyer once payment is confirmed or does the buyer have to wait 3 hours.

I have a question on your service. Will the coins be released immediately to the buyer once payment is confirmed or does the buyer have to wait 3 hours.

Great question! This really depends on two things: the amount that's being purchased, and the purchase history of the buyer (we don't have official levels of verification, but we do request ID after a certain threshold. The more purchases that you make, the faster your coins will be released).

If your amount is small and you've purchased before, you will likely receive your coins instantly after proof of payment is sent. This may not be the case for your first large transaction, but subsequent transactions will be fulfilled more quickly. The 3 hour time frame is the maximum amount of time that it takes for us to process a transaction, but that doesn't necessarily mean that any transaction will take the full 3 hours to process.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

Recent article on your service from bizjournals.com:
http://upstart.bizjournals.com/entrepreneurs/hot-shots/2015/03/20/this-college-student-s-bitcoin-exchange-doubles.html

Have you considered a flat transaction fee rather than a % of the transaction?  Flat fees seem more in keeping with the bitcoin mentality than do percent based fees.  Or maybe flat fees for transactions over a certain value.

We appreciate the input! At this time we won't be changing our fee, but we might consider a flat transaction after a certain purchase threshold down the line.

If you have more questions, we're happy to help!

Unfortunately we can only service cash deposits made at your local bank or credit union branch (https://www.bitquick.co/buy-2.php). Cash deposit is for all practical intents and purposes not reversible (there may always be people that will try, however), so once you make payment and upload a photo of your receipt we will be able to send your coins within 3 hours.

We do operate via an escrow system, so you cannot get scammed by a seller. The coins are held in BitGo (https://www.bitgo.com/) wallets and we use multi-signature addresses, so once the seller confirms the deposit we will release the coins. If the seller disputes the transaction, we will collect information from both parties and arbitrate the transaction.

If you ever have additional questions, please feel free to let us know!

Sorry to say, but seems as if Bitquick cannot handle their success. Sent some BTC to their escrow address, and it never appeared on their live sell order list. BTC has now been transferred out of that wallet, but I was never paid. Emailed multiple times, but no real response to my problem. Bitquick certainly looking scammy from where I'm sitting.

Hello,

We just wanted to follow up on this one since it seems to have slipped through the cracks, and because there are some pretty harsh accusations being made here. Could you please verify that this issue was resolved? I understand that the issue is more than a year old, but I would still like to apologize for the inconvenience that this caused you. If you wish to sell again, we'd be happy to provide an extra $10 credit to your account as a show of good faith.

Thank you,

BitQuick has always been honest and fair with me.  I was a daily buyer and recently even sold some Bitcoin on the site.  Some of my Bitcoin went unsold (I guess my rate was too high) and I was quickly sent back my BTC when I requested it.  Never an issue with them on my end.  I was spending close to $1000 a day with them for a couple of months.
