I'd just like to say my thoughts on the PICISI Project being created by Armis. PICISI will be a crowdfunding website that accepts fiat and crypto-currencies.

Over the last few years I have backed over 200 projects on Kickstarter / Indiegogo but the one project I have always looked for besides crypto based projects was a crowdfunding site for the altcoin world. The amount of projects I would have backed if Kickstarter / Indiegogo accepted altcoins would be much more than 200 projects!

I know PICISI will be much more of 'another crowdfunding' site, this site could not only bring alot of attention to various crypto-communities and the crypto-currency world but could help bring crypto-currencies to the main stream Kickstarter / Indiegogo type backer which is a tremendous market.  I believe if PICISI has a good solid ground with a solid variety of communities and sponsors the project could pick-up at great speed and become a big player in the crowdfunding world within a few years.

I have openly offered free web hosting and VPS hosting support for the PICISI project and will be help Armis with anything within my skill set / my teams skill set.

As Armis says 'utility' is the highest function for a currency, that's definitely true. I already have a few projects which I would run preferring more to be backed in crypto-currencies than fiat. Currently PICISI-lite is being developed in the process the community will be able to get a picture of what PICISI will bring and be able to provide constructive feedback.

PICISI will be a very powerful vehicle for introducing CC to the broader world.  It will enable many different coin communities to get their respective coins lots of exposure and use.  And yes, I repeat with emphasis: utility is the highest function for a currency, at PICISI CCs get lots of attention.

When visitors come to the site to raise funds for things that interest them they will have the opportunity to collect fiat as well as CC.  There are two host currencies, one for fiat and one for CC.   The Organizer has three options: a) accept sponsorship, b) select from list of CCs, or c) PICISI coin (default).  If they select sponsorship they will actually get paid because of that selection.   That's a great way to introduce CC to someone.   As Host CC sponsor all CC donations (regardless of type) are immediately converted to your currency and remain in that currency until spent or for the duration of the campaign.  The Organizer has the opportunity to spend CC donations with a campaign contractor(s) who help Organizers create, develop, and/or promote their campaign; thereby causing your currency to cycle again.

PICISI has not launched as of yet, we are currently in the pre-launch phase of PICISI development, this applies to both the site as well as the currency.  As we complete each of the pre-launch prerequisite we get closer to our launch dates.  I want to give many people the opportunity to see, understand, and get involved with PICISI's growth and development as early as possible.

The build-up allows this complex project to be broken down into easily consumable parts.  

PICISI is a crowdfunding site (under construction) that will allow campaign organizers to raise funds via fiat and cryptocurrency.  
PICISI has many aims, one of which is to give the masses a more positive picture of cryptocurrency than the primary negative one that consumes them.
PICISI will enable people to experience CC as actual currency rather than as a commodity (bought and sold at exchanges).
PICISI's mantra is 'Promotion, Promotion, Promotion' our intent is to promote the site message, the message of our sponsors, and the message of our individual campaigns featured at our site in such a way that engages thousands of self-employed contractors all over the world.  
Those authorized to do PICISI projects will be paid with 'Pi' (short for PICISI issued currency), the value of Pi will be determined by the open market.  When PICISI receives fiat fees we will use those funds to buy Pi at the official exchange sponsor, if we don't have an official exchange sponsor we will buy at all of the exchanges where the currency is available.

Exciting Unexpected Premature Good News

On May 3rd I was informed that of the 600 million websites on the internet, www.PICISI.com is ranked at 22 million.  That was phenomenal news considering there is nothing at the site and we didn't ask anyone to go there.  Our plan regarding site performance was to start monitoring it after we launch but since it is now listed we will start monitoring ranking immediately. 

Apparently the prelaunch buzz is effective and caused people to search out the site.  That curiosity was recognized by Alexa.com, the foremost authority on site rankings, who ranked PICISI.com.

Today I took a look at the ranking ant to my amazement it was adjusted to ~17M at this rate we expect to rise though the ranks fairly quickly.  Our ranking goal is to be under 100K in 3 months and under 10K in 6 months.  For perspective coinmarketcap.com is ranked at 14,406 worldwide, and bitcointalk.org is ranked at 5,645 worldwide.   

After we go under 10K we will aim to compete head-to-head with our primary competitors in the crowdfunding space: indiegogo.com who is ranked at 1018 worldwide and kickstarter.com who is presently ranked at 372 worldwide.

IMPORTANT

This article is more than an article about gaming, a particular CC, or a crowdfunding start-up, this article is actually represents a bridge between the CC world and the CF world.  Their target audience is extremely limited and highly focused, the audience is essentially made up of two types of people: campaign organizers and campaign donors.  If you look at the DNA of a CF organizer, a CF donor, and a CC speculator you will see very little difference because we are all cut from the same cloth, we are all: visionaries, strivers, investors, adventurers, gamblers, thinkers, creators, doers, motivators, leaders ... etc ... you know what I'm talking about because you are one too.

That article represents a CC story being told in a foreign CF land as such we should do what we can to support our story in their land so that more of them are encouraged and inspired to know more about our world.

I strongly encourage all that reads this message to write a comment at the article, mention any CC you wish but make sure that you draw positive attention to the article so that the CF people will be motivated to learn more about the CC industry.  please tweet

You created fake accounts then later 'determine' that it was unethical then closed them.   But some how you could not see how ethical it was while you were thinking about it?
I was unethical as a though, it was unethical when you started to process, it was unethical when you agreed to the terms of the site that said you would not do such things, it was unethical when you used it to access the site, it was unethical when you used it to create an entry, it was unethical when you allowed it to remain as long as you did.

To call yourself "honest and ethical" after admitting to mass unethical behavior is a pathological liar admitting to being a liar and wanting credit for momentarily telling the truth.

You were trusted to try to stop scammy practices, you were trusted to try to stop fraudulent practices, you were empower to try to stop unethical behavior, but instead you not only wrongly accused someone you then proceeded to do the very same scammy, fraudulent, and unethical things you are supposed to protect us from.

You created fake accounts misrepresenting yourself as "official PICISI" accounts knowing that I have a standing claim on that name in this space.  Of course that's unethical.  

You even went as far as issuing negative feedback to the PICISI account simply because you believed it's an alt account of mine.  

You jump to conclusions hurt others then act like all should be forgiven because you 'erased' it.  Why don't you erase the evil in you heart so you don't have to keep erasing things.

Vod is using a scammy account to give the false impression that he speaks for PICISI, but worse than that he is also actually lying when he claims that any sponsor requested a refund, not sponsor requested any refund.  In fact 1 has indicated that his next new business will also be a PICISI sponsor.

This is outrageous, not only because Vod is purporting to be associated with PICISI, but he's claiming that I said things that I didn't say in that post.  Note that the thread is locked and apparently only unlocked when Vod want to make a new entry.   That is not free speech that's libelous misrepresentation:

Vod created many impostor accounts to misrepresent PICISI, one of those accounts (pickissy) he uses frequently in an effort to misrepresent PICISI.  This notice is written to  demand that Vod stop misrepresenting PICISI and that Vod (and or his impostor accounts) stop harassing Armis, PICISI, and all those who wish to legitimately discuss and consider PICISI.

It is considered "scammy" to create impostor accounts, Vod created at least 3 of impostor accounts (Official PICISI, Offical PICISI, and Pickissy).  It is considered a 'scam' to used such impostor accounts to give people the impression that the impostor (Vod) speaks for the person, project, or entity being misrepresented.  

If Vod created an account 'Official_Theymos' it would be considered 'scammy', if Vod then used the account to give others the impression that he speaks for 'Theymos' or for 'bitcointalk.org' it would be considered misrepresentation EVEN if they later created a website called 'theofficialbitcointalk.org' website.  

The simple fact is it would be misbehavior because it would misrepresent the truth and seek to deceive the innocent.

Vod's misbehaviors are currently being discussed with numerous levels of authority on this site and outside of this site.

We recently activated a youtube account for PICISI, the channel will be used in many ways, primarily to house all of the campaign videos, but also to feature extended stories about campaigns that didn't make the final cut of the campaign video, and also post campaign videos that tell the 'follow-up' stories.

We need people who want to help manage the site.  

PICISI has many moving parts as implied by some of the admin positions, for example: the Communications Direction will be the face and voice of PICISI w/he will be responsible for making sure that PICISI is constantly in the news and mentioned somewhere in multiple languages around the world at all times.  S/he will be doing radio, TV, and online interviews.   S/he will also be supplying a steady stream of press releases, and articles to worldwide media.  

Most of those articles will be produced by Promotion Contractors who are self-employed people located all over the world who do assignments for PICISI and are paid with Pi (the PICISI issued currency).  One of the very many assignments that could be done is an article on a specific PICISI campaign, once the article is completed the Compliance Director reviews it for quality, if satisfactory we pay the contractor immediately.

We must make sure that the Pi we paid out are always in demand and easily transferable, so we want to have our currency available at exchanges, outside of exchanges (ie: shapeshift), and connected to resources that will enable debit card access.  These are assignments for the Exec and Deputy Directors.  

The Promotion Contractors from all over the world must have a degree of training to know our standards, the Promotions Director is responsible for that.  

The Content Director has to make sure that the site is constantly filled with high quality content including campaigns so s/he must work find ways to attract campaign organizers to the site and set up protocols to makes sure we have high quality content.  S/he must also work closely with tech to make sure that the site is user friendly.  

Keep in mind that mistakes, negativity, and challenges will come our way so we must considers these inevitabilities and try to prepare for them.  This is work that isn't seen when things are going good.  

The Finance Director has to figure out how to pay for operational licenses around the world without damaging Pi's short term value.  

All positions have real executive responsibilities however can be done by just about anyone who is meaningfully ambitious.

Since my last entry our site ranking has improved by another 1M positions, I received some inquires regarding the admin positions and investment opportunities.   We have four administrative positions we are trying to fill: Deputy Director, Communications Director, Promotions Director, and Content Director; although the plan calls for all of them to be in place before launch I'm reconsidering that since I'm having such a difficult time recruiting.  

The state of our admin team just before beta testing will tell me the extent at which I must amend the PICISI plan, during the first 15 days of beta testing PICISI fees (not paypal fees) will be waived.  If test results are good we will launch Pi.

In order to better appreciate the varying strengths of the PICISI community we have identified 3 specific levels of support:  

Sponsors are individuals or entities that pay a fee to meaningfully engage with PICISI for a set period of time.  For CCs engagement is expected to be sponsorship of crowdfunding campaigns, but it could also be in other measurable ways involving social media and/or Pi investment.

Advertisers simply pay for specific promotions; they may but are not required to engage the site in any other way.

Endorsers are those who support the PICISI vision and have permit the fact to be publicly known; they may but are not expected to engage the site in any other way.
