I don't do drugs, but just want to try something that will make me think better(even if its for a short time) .
Anything which does not have an ill side effects are better.

Cocaine will increase test scores but you must use it while studying and while taking the test. The downside is that it may well go on to destroy your life. 

sparkling water works for me, it pumps me for a while and makes me think and react better.

If you really want to increase your cognitive capacities there are several prescription drugs, Adderall for example, that will do that.

Caffeine is for light weights.

Nicotine works well, in gum form, but the effect is only 3-4 hours and its expensive. Ephedra also, if you can find natural ma-huang herb, but i haven't seen it for years, like a decade. Ephedrine HCl is readily available, not pseuodoephedrine. Cycle these 3 as they work via different pathways.

I have 10 lbs of, take 1-3 grams, start small, it kicks in about 60 seconds, full effect in 2 hours. If you take too much it makes you sleepy for a bit, homoeostasis.

Also extremely lucid dreams, potency wears off after a couple months, and you'll need some time off.

Moreover, if you can, I suggest to take a walk in the wildside... it helps very much to focus and think better!

Ritalin (http://www.drugs.com/ritalin.html) , great for studying (need to use it a few times when studying to see if it fits you and while taking the exam), not so hard to find (many use it, teenagers as well). the 30ml capsule considered to be "powerful" and lasts 5-8 hours.

*Its not only for studying, the idea is to make you focus.

Water and fresh air help cleanse the mind and body. There addictive but you dont have to sacrafice everything else in pursuit. Pints to help relax.

Speed does but the problem from over use is your teeth rot and you could be writing a paper and your pen has run out of ink but you don't notice.

On a daily basis I consume enough drugs to sedate Manhattan, Long Island, and Queens for a month. I take Quaaludes 10-15 times a day for my "back pain", Adderall to stay focused, Xanax to take the edge off, pot to mellow me out, cocaine to wake me back up again, and morphine... Well, because it's awesome.

Caffeine and staying well hydrated works for me. Not sure if it actually makes you think or focus better, but I will say that the anti-malarials I had to take when I was deployed to the Horn of Africa region did produce some pretty crazy dreams! Weird!

it's good compared to coffee and helps a lot of ppl with ADD who don't want to take ritalin or amphetamines, but is really nothing like the "limitless" drug it's hyped up to be. then again, the psychological baseline for ppl making the limitless comparison could be non-ADD and thus give them a head start. you can buy at discount w/ btc. will probably speed up the rate of human progress to some extent, but in time we'd probably be better off improving our brains through nanotech/cloud computing/etc.

To be honest you don't wanna start doing drugs cause there's always a negative side to it. But for relaxation Marijuana is pretty good.

I was used heroin for years.. When I'm on heroin i feelling like a hacker. I think and I think. When i start working, then my eyes can't handle heroin effects, so my eyes closing. But i still think and still want to work but i cant, i just feeling..

If you want improve your thinks,imagine then use. if you want work like a hacker then don't use!

I've used provigil's cousin nuvigil (provigil=modafinil, nuvigil=armodafinil) and can say that it was not very useful for boosting cognitive function. Mixed amp salts work far better :o

I think Caffeine does the job foe me quite fine. Although I very rarely need this sort of things. I like to grind out the drowsiness.

I think speed is a good one but I tend to lose focus after 14 hours.

Why do drugs and ruin your whole life. Just put some money in your pocket go out have the greatest night in your life. The next they you will be so motivated and you will want to do the best you can so you will have more money, to go out again and have another great night :) That always works for me :P

 In my case, Naproxin (by prescription) and Ibuprofin are the only thing that have allowed me to do the job I've had the last few years.

 Depends on the situation and the drug, don't assume they ALWAYS are misused and "ruin" a life.

I don't know how much you know but every kind of drug has its side effects. That is why all of them have that little piece of paper. Every single thing that involves chemicals in the process it is bad for you health, it maybe helps you concentrate or many other stuff but it affects other parts of your body too. So just read it before you use it. It is a friendly advice :)

Basically ADHD medication but I don't suggest you trying this and please don't.

I never used this drug but i have a friend that finished architecture on speed (amphetamine), he was learning and drawing, goes to tests and exames on that drug. By the way its much cheaper then cocaine and that is like doping in sport. So its better to listen other people here, go to walking maybe couple cup of coffe some cigar and its not cheating.

Drugs are cool and all, but if you are using them as the ONLY way to think and focus better, you become dependent on them.

Alot of people like amphetamines (Adderol etc) for studying and tests, etc

But I don't think drugs should be the final solution. If you cannot control your mind to evolve to where it does what it needs to do without drugs, then shits gonna fall apart when theirs a drought.

Meditation is best to train focus and thought.

That being said.

Do some psychadelics. It'll improve your focus on whats important in life.
I recommend a a hefty DMT flash when your peaking or coming down from a psilocybin or LSD trip

beware of caffeine the recommended daily limit for caffeine is 400mg but it varies by sensitivity and tolerance. the more coffee you drink the more you need to get the same effect

But there are some drugs aside coffee that helps in thinking and focusing on things better but they work for a very short span of time plus overconsumption of them might result hazardeous for your health.
These drugs are ADDRELL, MODIFINIL, RITALIN, etc....
