Its a much smarter move to go slowly with adoption, and legaly, because things like this make bitcoin take one step forward, and two steps back. Bitcoin is designed to be spent and used by people not just stored to try an accumulate value in my opinion and these will help that. I hop in the future I will be able to get payed in bitcoin so I may be able to use something like this.
