Title: Another where to buy thread..... Post by: omgbossis21 on March 08, 2015, 04:23:40 AM I don't have a standard US bank account, I have a debit card that acts as a bank account but the routing # is only good for tax purposes. Im looking to buy about $50 in btc right now. I have a paypal account I've had forever but realize that's pretty useless to purchase bc. I always had coins before because I was mining but have been out of the game for a few months now, down to just a my little usb miner that lives on. Lots of people in threads name this site or that site but most of the post are from people with under 10 post so I would definitely like somewhere reputable. Any options for me, appreciate any thoughts?

Post by: omgbossis21 on March 08, 2015, 06:05:09 AM More specifically its a debit card that acts like a bank account, my paychecks are directly deposited to this card (its a us bank). It has a routing number but the number only works for the irs to deposit refunds because its has letters in it, its not designed to be a official "bank" account. I have no problem with cash purchases but don't know anybody as I'm in no where Kansas. I know people used to sell coins on ebay but it seems that's long gone since I had a look. The card functions as a debit or credit card but with the routing # having letters I cant use it for much else. I suppose I can go open a bank account but it seems it would be a pain to do for the sole purpose of buying bitcoin. I remember people purchasing via "money packs", though I admit I didn't know what they were nor had any need for them as I mined. I know theirs a loan section I have plenty of collateral if needed but I'm not interested in borrowing money and paying interest when I can pay up front.
edit : Western union or money gram is an option though I'm unfamiliar with their fees and would need to find a trusted person to buy from obviously. |
