Has anybody played or does play http://entropiauniverse.com/?

I"m thinking of playing because I like mmo's. Opinions?

Everything costs money on that Mmo so you will be reaching for your wallet quite a lot. Clothes, armor, weapons, ammunition, fuel for your vehicle, deterioration of your gear and weapons, you name it and it will cost real money. 

How does the in game currency work once you start playing. I see its suppose to be "real time" currency, but how do you gain/lose in the game?

You buy in game currency PED's with Visa, Neteller, Paynova and now even Paypal I believe can be used to fund your account.  You can also cash out PED's back to your Paypal, Visa etc but it usually takes a long time to get your money back.  One of my withdrawals took around 40 days.  Most of the time hunting, mining etc. is not profitable because you spend more money on the equipment than what you make selling back minerals, loot from mobs, etc.  It's just a slow bleed until you have to deposit more money to continue playing.

I've payed it for 4 months almost full days.
You can play without investing money, but your journey will be very boring.
Investing is more fun because you can even do more beautiful stuff.my record so far is been 4 dollars of ammo and 30 dollars reward from a shinkiba.
I deposited like 40 dollars after a couple of months to try my success on mobs or mining,and I barely Gone even. Those 40 dollars worthed 2 weeks of play at play of 5 hours a day.

I also tried it a little. To gain something you really need to be lucky!
if you do not want to deposit you will spend your time "milking" lol.

Do they still have "Sweat" parties?

I downloaded part of it last night. Enough to where I could customize my Avatar. I stopped after than and haven't tried the rest of the game yet. I will today and take some screenshots and put up.

To try the rest of the game you will need money. Because if you world travel you will pay a tax of 20 cents. aka 2 peds
but you will mostly land on Calypso.
If you do, say on rookie chat you know FanEagle, they will treat you good.

its a nice game with virtual currency. to make any profit you need to find guides for making PED's

This is just glorified gambling wrapped up in an MMO.  In the end most people lose more money chasing that HoF loot drop.  It's an interesting concept nonetheless but don't go into the game thinking
you will make money.  Think of it as spending X amount of cash each month to play a game and you will be alright.

You are exactly correct. Its so not worth the effort.

Only if you have a stable income you can play that game, or if you are used to pay for WoW you can play this game flawlessly.
Now I'm stuck in Hell on Rocktropia, I go up there when I want to listen some music  8)

It's a nice game.. but it's very big , all those maps and downloads...

Yeah I said fuk it. I made me a steam account and bought Hektor. I also went out and bought a pc game controller as well. I can't find a way to change the controls on the controller..lol.. But back on topic, entropiauniverse is a vast game, but not worth the time to try and make money from it.
