Some said it was going to happen last week Friday, some said Saturday, and even a tiny few thought Monday would be the day, but as we see it just didn't happen.  But today is the day that wall get's busted.

I see "Bittylicious" just went to $301, who's next?

It looks like it is going to happen finally. This I think is great news for bitcoin to see the price going up over time since the last major bubble.

for people it has much more value if bitstamp, bitfinex, asian exchanges go over $300
i think today they as well will reach $300. but for how long.

Bittylicious' prices are always a lot higher than other places as they charge a huge premium. Let me know when it hits £300 though cos that's what I care about. The price is currently hovering at just below £200 from preev.

Yeah could very well be. It remains to be seen what happens when we actually press through that barrier though. Some say it's best to immediately start shorting, while others say we'll see a quick move further up. I don't quite know where to put my money yet...

It's a great service, but the prices are set by whichever individual is selling at the time and it becomes a little optimistic during price rises. Last night BTC bought by credit card was 1000 Euros for some reason.

I think it will take more than 500BTC to crash bitcoin $70 now, especially with plenty of buying pressure at the moment.

the bitcoin price sure had a nice uprising from $270 to $290. if it continues at this rate it would surely break the $300 barrier soon :)

Bitcoin is always full of surprises. I couldn't believe it myself until I saw the price touching 300. And yeah it happens and right now I see the possibility of it going up further. Probably 350 level by this weekend is still possible. I just hope it maintains steady and it stays that way.

It's at 294 on preev. Waiting a bit and hopefully will see it cross $300 on there and stay that way or grow positively :)

Still seems to be pretty resilient. It's a psychological border, mostly. TA-wise we have to break $350 to really confirm a bull-trend and say goodbye to most of the existing resistance lines. $310 and retrace to ~$300 within the day?!

It seems to be oscillating between $290 and $295.
I would like it to cross $300.... and stay there.  :)

Buy more before it sky rocket. It has been steadily increase and we should see $400 soon.

Just Broke $300 at Bitfinex but it is not stable so far, Actually I would rather take the Bitstamp as the standard price, Chinese exchange are following this exchange too.
Bitstmap breaks the $300, that is the only way I will say we broke $300 today.

Finally! The buy pressure prevails against the those sell orders! Hoping to see it stick around (or increase, who knows) within the coming weeks. Good times. :)

However one looks at it, Bitstamp is fading. Bitfinex has over five times the volume now. Coinbase is bigger too. The standard price should be where the majority of trades take place.

Hmm... if you are taking about the volume, Chinese exchanges have the largest volume, but actually they didn't the pricing rights on their hand, they are always follow other foreign exchanges, it's wired.

Yes, Bitstamp is losing volume after the hack, but I'm looking good at it.

Only the traders themselves could tell. Many short-term holders who bought in at 230 would consider this as a good time to sell.

High demands indeed. Though we couldn't surely say that we will probably be like this for a long time, still we can't deny the fact that big companies and the general masses starts accepting bitcoin and is really going into it.

Sorry, meant to say Coinbase exchange news spike to $315 back in January, then the massive dump afterwards. 

Looks like we're on our way to match the 2015 high soon, then surpass it any day now.

It's a mixture of demand and pumping. We may fall back to 260/270 at the most. I don't think we will go back to $230 unless someone is trying to bail out.

It's the sort of thing that happened in mid February. Half demand, half pump.

I will hold my btc until the price goes over 600-700 before I sell it.

Its actually already been over 300 on Finex Already. Due to that itself pressure is on stamp to not break 300.
We can only hope or buy for it to reach over 300 in the next 2 days

And here I am shorted at the price of $250 all my savings some 3 weeks ago and since then its just rising.

Bitstamp hit a frustrating $299 :D

The average is sitting at $295.07, preev is sitting at $294,7. Once both of those numbers hit $300, that's when I'll consider it to be busted.

Ugh. Anyway you can get out of it? It's not something that I'd get up to but you have my sympathy.
