prior to them being shipped I formatted them while still in "Raid" mode..... every time I would try and switch to IDE or AHCI my computer would crash due to my array.... Like you said they work for a minute and BSOD... That is due to your windows not having the AHCI/RAID drivers installed.... My last motherboard a Asus Crosshair 4 Formula allowed me to have 4 ports assigned to AHCI/RAID and 2 ports assigned to IDE but with my MSI GD70 board wont allow me to set it up like the crosshair board. IMO, Your having driver issues, the drives are fine....... worse case we can RMA together through Patriot or I'll refund your money..... Title: Re: WTS: Two Patriot Pyro 60gb SSD drives.
